Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) says she may boycott the Democratic presidential debate next week, accusing the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and media of “rigging” the primary contest against outsider candidates such as herself.

Gabbard pointed to what she described as “arbitrary” and nontransparent qualification requirements as evidence party leaders “are trying to hijack the entire election process.”

I applaud Gabbard (as do other dem candidates) for calling out the DNC and corporate media. She makes a very compelling case in her video.

As the front runner candidates of the Democrat party show how weak they actually are (Bernies heart attack, Bidens confusion and inability to address Ukraine, Warrens lies about her past) I think people will be drawn more to candidates with big ideas who aren't part of the Democrat political machine.

Here a leftist makes the case for big ideas candidates (with pictures)...

Both parties suck on the issue of internal dialogue. The Republicans won’t even allow primaries because they are so afraid of the Non-Trumpers in their own party.

Which is why we need a viable third party in the states.
Our two party system has systematically failed up.

Ranked choice voting needs to be implemented nationwide

Trumps approval is something like 95 percent.

No need to consider a cuck like Romney.

Back to Tulsi-I admire how she makes her case directly-and she's right.

    Bernie supporters remember no doubt.

    Totally agree with Gabbard's assessment.
Rather than boycott the debate, she should appear and
pivot her time to address DNC corrupting the process.

This isn't the first time we have witnessed the DNC anointing
a front runner before the first primary.
After the Hillary debacle one would think they would correct their
    lack of impartiality.

This thread is about the DNC/MSM apparatus.

Shouldn't change come from them first? (dem voters will have to demand it)

Take a look at the DNC wikileaks- corruption, overt racism, and scorn for voters show you what the DNC is all about.

Gabbard kneed capped Harris at the first debate.

Now Biden, Warren, and Bernie have even more baggage.

I'd like to see her hit all 3 along with the DNC.

Should the DNC purposely splinter their party and had over control to the corrupt republicans? No, lol.

We need a nationwide push that will effect both parties simultaneously.

The DNC wont change (except getting worse) if democrats don't demand change. It really reminds me of the Soviet union.

The GOP has proven able to handle internal strife-take a look at outsider Trump against 20 establishment Republicans-and now Trump has widespread support from his party.

Gabbard is right. This is where we find the lockstep Leftists versus those that are fair minded. It should be fun.

Tulsi was also the person that outed the DNC during the 2016 primaries. She was Co-Chair of the DNC with Donna Brazille, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Stephanie Blake Rawlings. When she saw the corruption of those three women and how they were working for Hillary Clinton above and beyond any other candidates, she blew the whistle publicly and resigned. ONLY a British Newspaper covered it at the time. CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, NY Times all ignored the scandal.

She is the rockstar, and cannot get real coverage. This will force the media to cover her. It's a smart calculation.

The process is rigged with selective polling, that is not as accurate as other polls, which have far better results for the non-establishment candidates.

Have you not been following Tulsi Gabbard at all? Seriously? You didn't know this? Damn... MSM followers wasting everyone else's time with propaganda.

When did you learn she quit as Co-Chair of the DNC for the 2016 election? Come on tell the truth.

Dems are rigging polls now? Lol ok.
No I don’t follow candidates who can’t win. Are you following Bill Weld? When’s he get to debate trump?

Your comprehension is poor. No one said they rigged polls. It was properly claimed that they disregarding superior polls that helped the non-establishment candidates.

Gabbard is the only rational candidate the democrats have unless of course, you're "Ridin with Biden".
How quickly that avatar went into the crapper.

    ah

Who got fairer treatment from their party 2016
    Bernie and his Democratic Party
Trump and his entry into the GOP?

I grew up in a Democratic party home in the fifties.
2016 + is not the Democratic Party I grew up with.
    Nor was 1968!

I hold the Democratic Party to higher standards.
I would rather vote GOP than a "lesser evil" Democrat.
The Democrat must be "good" or we lose "our party".

The worst thing I can think of about Tulsi is she is vegan.
No group of Democrats nor Independents will treat Gabbard like a Hillary.

As Yang looks over at her and says "yep no outsider could possibly achieve the requirements to debate on these stages." Come now, the reason she is not on that stage is that she does not deserve to be on them. She either lacks the infrastructure, name recognition, or as in the case of Yang the ability to see a goal and then work out a solid plan to achieve that goal. The requirements for these debates are not a secret and the requirements are achievable by anyone that has an actual chance of winning. So Tulsi don't blame the game, blame the player.

    Tulsi Boycotting?

    Sounds good.

Tulsi has NO chance (just like everybody else not named Biden or Warren) and there will be a bit more time for the other candidates.

Btw--If the Trumpies are so Madly in Love with Tulsi, why don't they form a grass-roots movement to support her as a GOP Primary Alternative to the ORANGE IMBECILE?:flagus:

Oh I thought we were discussing the corruption caused by party over country.
Yeh, republicans have that in spades.

Stuff trump is skating by with applause would have caused riots had Obama even joked about it.
