Thats the problem with the incredulous dogmatism of neoatheism they have no choice but to take refuge in denial when their god is exposed with his pants around his ankles.

Neoatheist isn’t a word. Atheism by definition is not a belief system. Atheism means lack of belief in a god or gods. This is reality.

neoatheology however per the commandments given unto man by the divine Christopher Hitchens would dictate that the bible isnt the bible, so I dont see a problem.

In atheology nothing is what it is. "Our belief is not a belief." ― Christopher Hitchens

All hail and pay homage to the Divine Hitchens! :worship:

I don't suppose that you ever considered that all atheists do not think the same way about the same things.

All you do is make senseless attacks to bolster your own ego. Which is huge.

    The Neoatheist bible:

“My own opinion is enough for me, and I claim the right to have it defended against any consensus, any majority, anywhere, any place, any time. And anyone who disagrees with this can pick a number, get in line, and kiss my ass.”

So you finally admit that you pray to Hitchens. Suspected it all along and then you provide proof.

Hitchens' words make perfect sense in the context you chose to ignore. This is the passage:
"Our belief is not a belief. Our principles are not a faith. We do not rely soley upon science and reason, because these are necessary rather than sufficient factors, but we distrust anything that contradicts science or outrages reason. We may differ on many things, but what we respect is free inquiry, openmindedness, and the pursuit of ideas for their own sake.”
    https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/202249-our-belief-is-not-a-belief-our-principles-are-not

For someone who mocks those who don't google every letter you write, your post shows the classic "do what I preach, not what I do" kind of attitude. The word belief has, of course, different meanings. One of them is confidence, other is faith. "Our confidence* is not a faith". This is how I read the Hitchens quote.

    * confidence - a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities

Sure if you fail to comprehend what he is saying I suppose you could come to that conclusion.
and sweep real world reality under the carpet

Persecution of Christians in the Soviet Union

Soviet Marxist-Leninist [atheist] policy consistently advocated the control, suppression, and ultimately, the elimination of religious beliefs, and it actively encouraged the propagation of Marxist-Leninist atheism in the Soviet Union.[2]

From 1932 to 1937 Joseph Stalin declared the 'five-year plans of atheism' and the LMG was charged with completely eliminating all religious expression in the country.[71] Many of these same methods and terror tactics were also imposed against others that the regime considered to be its ideological enemies.

The neoatheists Lord god Hitchens like his predecessors was very good at promoting sweet sounding propagandathat are nothing more than BOLD FACED lies.

Atheists have a proven track record of disrespect and mass murder!

Id choose a benevolent that believes in flying spaghetti monsters any day over the **** atheists have forced on to the world.

I could dissect his quote line by line to demonstrate its falseness though its would be a waste of time.

    Prove failure to comprehend.

You can't dissect Hitchens' quote line by line because - again - you have no context. Your post clearly proves you haven't read the whole thing.

    Here's the relevant ignored context:
    https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2007/04/religion-poisons-everything.html

The passage is not about all atheists. It's about thought patterns and worldviews among some atheists (Hitchens' co-thinkers).

Stalin was destined to become a priest. He studied at a seminary of the Georgian Orthodox Church. He was kicked out for missing exams. Stalin was taught to think dogmatically. He wasn't a free thinker by any definition. Not a Hitchens' co-thinker.

Adepts of totalitarian ideologies are basically trading traditional religion for a different but still thoroughly dogmatic system of beliefs. This is what Stalin did.

Prove Hitchens is not dogmatic? cothinker or otherwise. Every board neoatheist quoted him at one point or another, I dont know any neoatheists who have not parroted him, account for this descrepancy

So Stalin iyo was a dogmatic atheist?

During the purges of 1937 and 1938, church documents record that 168,300 Russian Orthodox clergy were arrested. Of these, 106,300 were shot.[76]

    No Seminary teaches that ^^^^^^

Stalin was destined to become a psychopathic mass murderer, and he fulfilled his destiny well

There you go with facts. Godless Leftists HATE facts. They prefer to call you "stupid" and then turn and walk away.

Perhaps this contributed to his decision to become a Marxist revolutionary.

During his time in power, Stalin had a complex relationship with religion. He officially adopted the Russian Communist Party’s stance on religion, claiming atheism and continuing the tradition of teaching atheism in schools and propagating the idea that religion was only damaging to a perfect communist society. Stalin even took it further than his predecessor, Lenin, and initiated a nationwide campaign to destroy churches and religious property and even persecute and kill church officials.3 It is said that under Stalin, the Russian Orthodox Church went from 50,000 to 500 open and operating churches.4

    Stalin once said:

You know, they are fooling us, there is no God… all this talk about God is sheer nonsense.5

What I find odd is that Pisa's post almost sounds like he is defending stalin, or trying to stick a theistic deity twist in there somewhere.

Atheism makes sense because there still isn't even a SPECK of credible or compelling evidence to support the fantastical hypotheis that some creator god exists. -- Mike (a.k.a. Market Junkie)

I think atheism a belief system or as a religion that has no rules or gods. But it is still too early for science to say there is no god definitely. If we just use logic, then we should be an agnostic. Otherwise, we can not prove if there is a god or not. So, there is a lack of evidence. If there is no evidence, then there is no science.

For me, it doesn’t matter if he is exist or not. Even tomorrow he appears suddenly, still I do not obey him just because he is really worse than devil.

No rules says it all, minimal talent as well displayed by hatred for those who believe in and have faith in deities while at the same time pretending they have the high ground claiming atheist only to soon find out they have no more proof God does not exist than theists have that God does exist.

Both belief systems are based in 'faith', NOT proof, both are presumptions of fact by the claimant.

Science will never disqualify the existence of God because they cant, the evaluation is a different set of rules between the 2 without significant overlap, so it will never happen.

Lenin was wrong. Why would you assume he's omniscient? And even if he were right, the reverse is obviously untrue.

YOU say Lenin was wrong. And you are an authority... why, precisely? Because you are a Leftist? And Leftists always claim to be the smartest people in any size group? Please, spare everyone the pretension and faulty reasoning.

"Omniscient" is your word, not mine. Leftists are always spinning things and twisting them to suit your Leftist narrative.
Lenin wasn't talking about "the reverse." He was talking about communism, and he would be more of an authority on it than any Leftist in America today. There are countless monuments and books referring to him. How many are there about you, yardmeat? Zero.
