They weren't fighting in the usa favor. They were fighting for themselves. The USA helped them for a while but never promise them evrlasting support.

Why should I answer a question you asked someone else, you're not my master. Perhaps you would like to respond to the points I made which refer to the situation existing now, not some theoretically situation that is too late to have anything done about it because Trump decided not to tell anyone other than Erdogan what he was going to do. Perhaps you could explain how Europe or the UN could have replaced those 50 troops in the minutes between the removal of troops and the attack by Turkey.

Lol you said you answered it a couple posts ago, and now you're claiming you're refusing to answer it?

What exactly are you upset about? Seems like your anger should be aimed at Germany but for some reason you're butthurt with Trump.

LOL You're avoiding any of the points I made! Why should I be angry with Germany? They are no longer a war mongering nation. And did you miss my posts where I stated "The US Foreign Policy does not change whoever is President" and "and eternal wars is US Foreign policy in the Middle East".

And in this case the details discussed in Trump's secret conversation with Erdogan is the problem.

No one is saying Germany is war mongering nation now...

They are the ones complaining about the fallout of Turkey.

You are the one complaining that the US should be fighting there.

LOL You think that only Germany is complaining! Have you not bothered to read what everyone has been saying worldwide? Your own generals and high position Republicans have been saying how stupid Trump is for doing this. Practically every country in the first world have said what a stupid decision was made by Trump

Oh my goodness. You have not read a single post on this thread.

I'm asking you why it's OUR problem to fight there when there are many nations with excellent military's SO much closer that can handle it- and that WANT it handled?

You keep dodging it! This is insane. Just answer why it's OUR problem to solve.

Well if reading up on the current events doesn't convince you as to why, then nothing will. What is clear is your disposition rests with party affiliation only.

And no, it was not a stupid decision by Trump. Do you want to violate a NATO pact- and before you answer that, think about our last administration.

Well hundreds of ISIS prisoners they were guarding, and all the lives they lost fighting ISIS is most certainly a favor for the USA, it was a mutual benefit working with them.

I appreciate the post, but my position rests with the soldiers that I have led and have served with and why it's bad to fight a needless war that other country's have more interests in.

If that's political to you, then you must be a Hillary voter.

Allowing ISIS prisoners to go free is the farthest thing from intelligence.

Yeah, lashing out nonsense makes your argument better :)

    needless war
Needless war, so you call keeping ISIS in check, needless, and the USA has no interest in that. Gen Mattis and McMasters disagree!!!

The US is the ones who choose to interfere in the Middle East because that is you Foreign Policy for the Middle east; you were not asked to invade Iraq; you were not asked to continually threaten Iran. You choose to interfere. You are now building up forces in Saudi Arabia, over 14000 extra troops sent there this year in addition to the thousands already there, why? Your next goal in Foreign Policy is to instigate a war between Iran and Saudi Arabia. Daesh would not exist if it were not for your invasion.

It clearly was a stupid decision! A sensible decision would be to agree with other countries who should replace those 50 troops not just remove them without notice. The UN carry out those sort of duties worldwide successfully in much more dangerous locations

I agree that we should cut all ties with KSA. No disagreement there. If it were up to me, I'd pull everyone out and sell them no weapon systems/aircrafts...etc.

    What nation are you from?

So should the US violate the NATO agreement and fight Turkey? I have a follow up question if your answer is yes.

What are the ISIS regimental numbers? What has the Arab League done about them?

Lol then why not let nations that have such problems with this (Germany) use their well-trained military's to take care of it? Do you want the US to occupy the Kurds until the end of time?

    I've already answered these points!

"then why not let nations that have such problems with this (Germany) use their well-trained military's to take care of it?"
It's too late, the house has already fallen down. It's a bit like removing a supporting wall and then being surprised that the house collapsed

"Do you want the US to occupy the Kurds until the end of time?"

How is it too late for the Arab League and the EU (NATO nations) to take control?
