In our communications, I'm 100 percent convinced and 100 percent quite confident that you are a 100 percent absolutely sure that nothing is 100 percent absolutely sure--its that kind of attitude--preaching contradictions as non-contradictions--that is one of those ideas that makes communications confusing and ineffective.

Be absolute in your pronouncements and you'll be understood, absolutely. (You see, I'd say you are 100 percent absolutely sure of 100 percent of absolutely nothing, absolutely. But you would reply: "No. That's not what I said at all"--another absolute. And all that "absoluting" about non-"absoluting" leaves me absolutely confused, 100 percent.)

Only a child believes everything is absolute. As a person gets older things become clearer that life is not full of absolutes. If you want to believe absolutes exist in this life go ahead if it makes "your" world easier to make sense of.

You do realize that's another absolute, right?

What a child thinks does not make an absolute. Perception and reality are two very different things.

Oh, it makes it infinitely safer when snorkeling, driving on the highway, when skydiving, when playing guitar, when cruising, when judging behavior, performing brain surgery, riding a tricycle, making a great steak. I mean all of life in every aspect, in every respect, it is lightyears more safe with absolutes instead of maybes and might-bes.

Two more absolutes. (For someone who does not view absolutes as valid, you use them a lot, I mean, absolutely, a lot.)

Hmmm. Your judgment of perceptions and reality may be two different things, but perceptions perse are not. They are automatic--you see what you see.

Agreed - so why did you present a black vs white narrative :)

    A) The PKK -even though there are slim connections between that and the YPG- hasn't been engaging in much terrorist activity for a long time now. https://www.jpost.com/Opinion/YPG-is-not-PKK-but-Ocalan-is-leader-of-both-572730

    B) It's unbelievably apparent that the Turkish government under Erdogan is not interested in co-operation so much as he wants to rebuild the Ottoman Empire and become the next sultan and rule over his people whether they want him or not.

Yes in 2012 after 6 million Syrians has fled the country and Assad had dropped over 4000 barrel bombs on his people.

    In theory, this is correct.

However, I really do not believe that we should "fight along side Turkey"--even if it is, indeed, a NATO member.

In fact, I truly believe that we should give NATO an edict: Either Turkey can remain a part of the group, or the US can remain a part of it.

But it is entirely impossible for both to remain a part of it.

    And really mean it...

I don't like Erdogan, I never voted for him but I can only say something.
Put a random Turk in place of Erdogan. A Turk never negotiate about PKK. This is Turkish red line. We lost more than 40.000 people because of PKK teror.

50% of Turkish people do not support Erdogan. He can't be a sultan, also he has no plan to be a sultan.

Jpost or any other Israeli views are biased.
