Following his telephone conversation with the Turkish dictator, Fake Don, with no consultation with his handlers, cut and ran from the low risk deployment of approximately 1,000 US troops supporting our democratic allies in norther Syria, making the way for the Turkish dictator's invasion that is killing and displacing tens of thousands of refugees, and facilitating the escape of thousands of Islamic State terrorists.

Shortly after his betrayal of our democratic allies, Fake Don ordered nearly 2,000 additional US troops deploy to Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, despite repeated insistence over the years that he would order their immediate withdrawal, Fake Don still has 13,000 - 14,000 US troops mired in his Afghan fiasco.

The PKK is a Marxist-Leninist organization with whom the US has never been allied.

I do not defend US policy regarding the Kurds under previous presidents. It has often been hypocritical and unreliable. The current betrayal of democratic allies is the first instance of which I am aware of US forces actually serving alongside the Kurdish-lead Syrian Democratic Forces actually cutting and running.

There is now over 14000 US troops in Saudi Arabia and the 1000 US troops in Syria are still there but moved away from the the area that allowed Turkey to invade Northern Syria. Little doubt that this was all planned in the phone call between Trump and Erdogan given that Trump previously told the Kurds to reduce their border defenses with Turkey under the promise that Turkey will not attack them.

US-backed Syrian Kurds to remove fortifications from Turkish border as part of ‘safe zone’ deal

I'd call it just one more desperate attempt at diversion by Trump bum kissers unable to defend their p-grabbing messiah's crapping on American values.

    "Oh, yeah!
    Well, what about ...?"

Their impotence in honestly confronting the matter under discussion is entirely understandable, and the desperation exhibited by the obvious need to flee from it painfully apparent.

The PKK are Turkish Kurd separatists who carried out a terrorist attack in Istanbul. The Syrian Kurds now under attack from Erdogan are not affiliated with the PKK.

You are right. The partition of the ME with total disregard for anything except distribution of land between European powers set the stage for the religious tribal conflicts still in play today.

Erdoğan played Trump and Putin played Erdoğan.

The victors are Putin, Assad, Iran, and Islamic State.

    Clearly.

Conflating Fake Don's cutting and running from democratic allies and the US not defending Marxist terrorists is the sort of desperate ploy some are driven to by Trumpery.

Indeed. Trumpette's are prepared to latch themselves on to any conspiracy theory or factually unsupported fabrication that passes their way in order to defend the fatuous pig they are inexplicably devoted to.

According to ABC, Trump brought the Kurds back to Knob Creek, Kentucky, and used them for night time firing practice. It was something to watch.

Trump greenlit Turkey's military action knowing they were going to do it.

    Sequence of events:
Sep 2019 Trump tells Kurds to remove their defenses on the border with the guarantee that Turkey will not invade while their ally is there which they do to carry out the aim of creating a safe zone on the border.
    Oct 2019: Trump telephones Erdogan
    Oct 2019: Trump removes troops
Oct 2019: Turkey invade knowing that no US troops are there and Kurdish defenses removed

Apparently we need to interfere in other nations, and place a battalion of US soldiers in every nation on earth, to act as human shields, so one faction or one nation's army will not attack another. And the US needs to do this forever, or else we are to blame.

Well, that part is what i didn't like to see. Why the sudden shift in policy? Were there prior discussions between the Kurds, Turks and US, about this action. Or did Trump suddenly pull the plug without any prior discussions, and leave the Kurds flat footed?

Either way, why would be be held accountable, if Turkey were to essentially commit war crimes, by targeting and murdering civilians?

The 1,000 US troops were performing a vital role at low risk in support of the democratic forces in northern Syria.

Despite the fake Trumpy line, they're not coming home, not even leaving the Middle East:

A U.S. official told the Associated Press that the approximately 1,000 American troops will be repositioned in Iraq, Kuwait and possibly Jordan, after withdrawing last week from the Manbij region. (Fake Don also just deployed 1,800 more troops to Saudi Arabia.)

Well it seems they have enough for themselves and to sell some too.

    1. US-Allied Syrian Kurds Reportedly Sell Oil to Damascus ...
      https://www.voanews.com/middle-east/us-allied-syrian-kurds-reportedly-sell-oil...
The Wall Street Journal reported Friday the U.S.-allied Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) has been selling oil from fields that it controls in the east of Syria, despite U.S. economic sanctions.
I know that and I know the Kurds have been in the Middle East even before Christ. They are spread all over the Middle East, including places like Turkey,Syria, Iraq, Iran, etc.

I guess he had no problem with Obama's policy with the Kurds did he?

      https://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/Obama-Kurds-ISIS-Iraq/2014/09/30/id/597690
Sep 30, 2014 · President Barack Obama has pledged to protect and arm Syrians and Iraqis facing terrorist attacks by the Islamic State (ISIS) but has so far failed to protect Kurds on the Turkish border of Syria, said Robert Zubrin, a senior fellow with the Center for Security Polic

    2. Obama refuses to provide the Kurds weapons to defend ...
      https://reform4syria.org/obama-give-the-kurds-weapons-to-defend-themselves
Oct 03, 2014 · As Barack Obama refused to arm the Free Syrian Army for over three years and refused to arm the Ukrainian Government to defend themselves from the Assad and the Putin terrors, now comes to our attention that Obama is refusing to provide the Kurds with weapons even as ISIL besieges the town of Kobani (Also called Ayn al-Arab).

Well no kidding. Syria is and has been Russia and Iran's biggest Allie in the Middle East. Obama and Hillary must have been crazy to think Russia and Iran would sit back and do nothing and allow them to just take out Assad. The only thing they accomplished was arming ISIS and creating millions of Muslims to invade Europe which will never be the same again.

Not sure how this agreement will come out, but if it does, the Kurds will move 20 miles on the other side of the safety zone and hopefully the fighting will be all but over. Most already has. A short two day war if it works out. Who would ever have thought things could be settled that fast? The two million Syrians living in Turkey can now be resettled back in Syria and that will move the Kurds away from the Turkish border, which was a major problem for Turkey. If it works out that way, a lot of important people that condemned Trumps move will have egg on their face.

Desperate diversions to bygone days and appeals to religious bigotry fail.

When he cut and ran, betraying a loyal ally, Fake Don duped his mindless worshippers yet again. No one is "coming back home."

Your reversion to historical concerns from a partisan perspective suggest that you may wish to initiate a thread that addresses your disparate fixation.

This thread, that you seem unable to honestly confront, concerns Fake Don's lying about bringing US troops back home when he betrayed America's allies.
