what kind of stupid, insane, and inaccurate remark is that? Before making extremely wrong remarks why don't you aquant yourself with the issue here. The issue here is that we are discussing the fact that Trump gave Turkey the green light to attack the very same Kurds that most of the fighting and dying to beat back ISIS. Since POTUS Donald was POTUS for almost three years and these very same Kurds that Trump now has authorized the Turks to kill were the very same one who fought and died fighting ISIS. So are you accusing your POTUS Trump of supporting the " PKK COMMUNISTS ? It sure appears that your are. So does Grump pal around with Comminists and ISIS.

PS- Just for the record I have never supported any Communists nor vwill I ever.

The one description or critique of Trump as not wanting to or not having the ability to think strategically has been shown as a truism based on his handling of the Syrian swamp. Not only did Trump give the Turks the green light he gave Putin the go boy go encouragement Trump opened the blood gates fir Iran to step in. Iran has always wanted what the ancient Persian Empire had - access to Mediteranian ports. That has been Iran's strategic dream and Trump is making that Iranian dream a reality. Now consider how our perennial ally Israel will feel with Iran gaining a strategic foothold ext door.

Trump's failure to understand international strategic policies and moves has inadvertently given aid and comfort to another enemy - Iran.

If you want to debate with me then debate with me not some fictitious " you guys". If you in any way think that I ever supported Communists then you have no idea what my political positions are.

Go and argue with whoever those "you guys" are that you believe support Communists. I am sure there must be some Communists on this Forum to play with.

Now the troops are rallying against him for betraying the trust of the Kurds.

I heard that but active military cannot under the laws of the UCMJ make political comments for or against the POTUS. I can criticize a POTUS politically since I am retired as long as I am not in uniform which I and any retired military man has the right to wear to certain functions under certain conditions.

Don't you think the UN should do something or do you think we have to be the world police?

Wonder why the UN doesn't do anything? Oh yeah, Europe whose problem this really is doesn't want to interrupt their trade agreements.

Did he say he was going to send an extra 14000 troops to Saudi Arabia this year?
"The US has increased the deployment of forces in the region by 14,000 since May, according to CNN. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had requested additional support, Mr Esper said."

Actually it is more dangerous. US troops are being used where missile defense systems are placed to defend Saudi oil refineries, the same type of refineries that were recently blown up

What, you think in those minutes between Trump withdrawing US troops and Turkey shelling Syrian villages, it would be possible to get European or UN troops to replace those US troops? Perhaps you could explain how?

Yeah...but SA and Syria/Turkey aren't the same place. Turkey is a NATO partner...Iran is not.

So you're saying that Trump did not say that he was going to bring the troops home but said he was going to increase the number of US troops in Saudi Arabia? I must have missed that

You Assad, Putin, Kurds, and Turkey would accept UN peace keepers? You realize that the UN Baby Blue helmets have only the power of "please, maybe, can we, possibly come and sort of keep peace". Right? The peacenicks would come from countries who need to volunteer their men and as I said Turkey, Kurds, Syria, and Russia because they have combatants there invited by Assad would have a say.

That's odd. You wrote in another thread "Ending Obama’s bloody war of choice is a positive. Glad to have our troops home!" and in another thread you wrote "No, the president has stated his support for them...but yes, the people are tired of cleaning up Obama’s Syria mess and want our troops home" and "Meanwhile, our troops are coming home"

When did I say within minutes? It's been a few days has there been any Nato response?

Yep, according to Struth, Trump did not say that he will bring troops home but had previously said that he will increase troops in Saudi Arabia, so it is acceptable that more than 14,000 extra US troops have been stationed in SA this year.

It didn't.....not sure why are you confusing the two different places and issues. Our troops are coming home from Syria...SA, well actually the Iranian issue, is something different. We have had troops in both places.
