No but certainly could be a reason for a neighbor to call the police to come because the neighbor has never seen the door open for such an extended period and that late and make sure everything is OK. How do you make the leap to a door being open being a crime?

History speaks for itself. You don't retain benefit of the doubt when you continually repeat the same immoral conduct that you've been engaging in over the past 232+ years. At some point, rational people remove that benefit of the doubt and the assumption is aligned with the extant real world history of your behavior. Police have been murdering Black People in this country for over 154 years and the "concept" which lead to "Policing" in the United States has been responsible for that murderous track record.

For over 154 years, "Policing" has been used as a weapon against Black People, for the purpose of controlling Black People, such that their industrious numbers remain suppressed and their economic prowess remains truncated. This is WHY "Police" were involved in the destruction of Black Wall Street. This is WHY "Law Enforcement" in the form of the FBI was used against Black People during the decades of the Civil Rights Movement. This is WHY "Law Enforcement" was used against Marcus Garvey, resulting on bogus "mail fraud" charges. Hoover, admitted that there was nothing in Garvey's background that warranted deportation on legal grounds. Nothing at all.

You can look at these pigs like Amber Guyger, or Aaron Dean, or any number of such piggish trolls over the past 232+ years in this country who have murdered Black People, merely because they were Black - and you can excuse them if you want to. It only speaks to your true moment here. However, I don't and I won't excuse them because I'm fully aware of the History that brought their piss poor faulty neurological programming into existence. I'm fully aware of the false White Supremacist encoding they've received that causes them to think it "ok" to murder Black People.

- Walking into an apartment that you know is not your own - then using your standard issue Glock 17 to murder
- Walking into a backyard where you are covered by shadows, but have your victim covered in full interior light - then using your standard issue Glock 17 to murder

Though I prefer H&K USP 9, chambered in Underwood +p 65gr XD, I would have preferred that BOTH Atatiana Jefferson AND Botham Jean, had been aware of an intruder on/in their property AND had been armed each with an FN SCAR 17S Heavy chambered in either 308 or 762 (I use 762 personally) when they were unlawfully attacked on their premises.

that would be like saying history has shown many black people been more violent than the white suspects in an area, so we need to treat them different - no, each incident should be judged on it's own by the circumstance at hand, not based on historicals, yes there is bad cops, yes there is bad black people, and bad white people, preachers, teachers, the list goes on.... but base it on the evidence

this cop was behaving badly, most agree, not sure we can say it was racial though, unless more evidence surfaces to suggest that

There are no reports there was a camera nor that the neighbor knew there was a camera. Any talk of a camera is unsupported conjecture. The neighbor reported the door had been open for a LONG time, and no one was to be seen and it was no 2AM.

The problem is far more complex than that. Policing in America was instantiated on the premise of controlling the Black population and providing a source of free labor for the country's institutions - namely those in the South/Southeast. That legacy of "purpose" has become a "home" for White Racists today, who see law enforcement as a legal method for murdering Black People. Before the Internet, this fact was NEVER reported on by either local or national Media. All you heard about was the "news" story of the proverbial drug dealer who got shot and killed by the police from the 70s through Today.

What you did not hear about were all the cases where police planted evidence to obtain a conviction of Black People, where they raiding the wrong home and killed entire families of Black People, where they made a traffic stop and shot every Black Person in the vehicle, or where they arrested Black People, who were later found dead in their jail cell the next morning with no one ever having been held responsible. Those types of cases can only be discovered and understood by talking to the victim's surviving family members who knew the fully story inside and out. There are MANY Journalists who know about those stories around the country, but whose Editor refused to allow that story to come forth. Ergo, you never saw it on the 6 O'clock News and you never read about it on the front page of your "News" Paper.

This has been going on for over 232+ years in this country in one form or another. You are just now getting the tip of the iceberg thanks to the Internet and your access to it.

There is a reason WHY the Black Population has been decreasing in America, when it should be the second largest demographic in this entire country. There is no logical explanation for why Hispanic and/or Asian Population growth should be significantly higher than that of the Black Population. We had (by far) the highest number of native born ethnic Americans living in all of North America. Yet, our numbers have dwindled well below where they should now be after 154+ years of Emancipation.

The cause of this has everything to do with the attempt to destroy the nucleus of the Black Family, by way of attacking its Youth through the triple play of Poverty, Addiction and Incarceration. However, the Number #1 cause has been Failed Education. We simply do not fully understand WHO or WHAT we are in this country and that is the biggest problem of all. If you knew that you came from Intellectual Giants, there would be nothing and no one capable of standing in your way.

This is why Dr. William Chancellor, both researched and wrote the book called "The Destruction Of Black Civilization." He researched and wrote that book to educate you on WHO and WHAT you are in this world. In that education, you know exactly what your enemies look like and why they exist.

 

Amber Guyger, got 10 lousy years for murdering a Black Man in his own home where she was trespassing. There have been so-called "offenders" who got 40 years on drug charges. 40 years on a drug charge. 10 years for murdering someone in their own home. You could kill a Police Dog and get more than a 10 year sentence.

I have no faith in the system to produce actual justice. None. I also know for a fact that ALL of these unlawful and immoral killings will be Avenged. That's the way the Universe works. It always has and it always will. They will be Avenged. Make no mistake about it.

Whites have their own TV Networks and Publication Rights.

Whites prohibited Blacks from Miss America and for obvious reasons - every single Miss America who was Black was drop dead gorgeous, talented and embarrassed the competition at the same time.

You can't turn on your television without seeing White People. The notion that somehow Black People, having "their own" is some kind of sign of segregation is an exact example of the kind of false narrative that only a White Racist would even dare to submit into evidence. The fact that White People have excluded Black People to the point where Black People go out and build something of their own is only a shinny symbol of segregation to the most deluded in this country.

Indeed, his conduct on the scene given what we can see with the bodycam was idiotic and amateurish at best. However, I am no longer in a position where I give White Police Officers any benefit of the doubt when they draw down on an unarmed Non-White Person who is not engaging in behavior that can be considered by a reasonable person to be an imminent threat of great bodily injury and/or death to the officer. Period. No more benefit. I gave that benefit for a very long time because I know people who work in Law Enforcement and have for many years. I no longer give that benefit. You MUST conduct yourself Professionally at all times when wearing the Uniform. Period.

What you do out of Uniform, is your own damn business as far as I am concerned. But, when you suit up, your Conduct Matters. If you can't conduct yourself either in accordance with Department Policies and/or in accordance with Good Moral Code, then you need to take the Uniform off, turn in your Badge and surrender your Standard Issue Glock 17 to your Sargent and/or your Captain with a plainly written letter of resignation.

 

Expect Fort Worth to fork over a minimum of $20 million for the thug cop's night of fun.

 

The only mistake she made was not having a rifle in her hands, preferably a good bullpup design, while remaining clear of windows and waiting for some dumb @$!#^% to choke himself by entering through the door, providing her with ample legal grounds and a hard choke point into which she could flood the entire door way with 762 or 556 from behind cover. Tactically, she'd still be alive today had she done that and it would be Aaron's family on their way to funeral instead of Atatiana's family.

To Black People​

- You need external cameras on your property
- You want "eyes outside" your home on the perimeter
- You want to know the threat count outside on the perimeter before it breaches your home
- You want proper angles against windows and doors such that YOU have the angular advantage
- You want to secure those angles with proper cover, not mere concealment inside your home
- You want a Tactical Rifle that is maneuverable that provides you with flexible response capability and sufficient fire power down range
- Use the doors and windows as choke points to reduce the width of the target area - when they come through the doors or windows - light them up like a christmas tree and make them pay for it in their own blood

STOP being a @%$@%$ victim and STOP praying for their gawd to come down from heaven to save you. 'J'esus is not coming back because he was never here to begin with. BTW I'm glad you are not my neighbor but if you were and I knew that was your position and I saw something suspicious at your house I would not call the police wouldn't want to violate your stated position about watching out for your neighbors.

Yeah, I was just going off my initial reaction. I have also heard a report that she had a gun on her because she heard a noise in the back yard. The cop was definitely unjustified here, but I am not confident that he will be convicted of a crime.
