Ya like I said deflection... Neither worked, Stormy wasn't the topic and the first link you provided was ample information.. Offer all the distractions you like, I have accepted what you offered earlier and I'm comfortable with that.

    Sorry you're not :(

Well, that's good to know. Far to many posters here are quick to cut a post they respond to. I will simply bold or enlarge a portion of a quote if that is all I am responding to. Good on you. I was mistaken in my haste. Apologies to you.

Both sides gerrymander, just in different ways. Your problem is not with vote weighting or gerrymandering. Your problem is having a party agenda that's antithetical to our Constitutional Republic.

Our founding fathers foresaw the danger of mob rule, and established our Constitution accordingly, so that each state can live by their own priorities, without being overrun by a few big state cesspools of liberalism.

I do not have a party so i do not have a party agenda — that would be you. And gerrymandering is taken to much more extreme measures in republican districts than democrat ones. Gerrymandering is “antithetical to our Constitutional Republic”. As is a president refusing to comply with congressional subpoenas.

Yeh, it had nothing to do with slaveowner states...

Mob rule was never considered because only white male landowners could vote.

Call it what you wish, but the principle of mob rule was considered, which is why our Republic has 50 states today, each with their own sovereign rights, including what were the slave states of that era.

The president is not obliged to comply with congressional abuse of power. The House hasn't even voted yet on its own "inquiry". Instead, they hide and plot in secret quarters like a pack of dirty rats plotting a coup. It's abuse of power at it's worst, and a threat to our Republic.

One of the many powers of congress is investigatory abilty to check the executive branch.

You have heard of checks and balances right, I know trump thinks he is above the law though so maybe you are just absorbing that train of thought.

I think you and others would be surprised how much people are paying attention. Those that pay attention do so to make sure it sure Schiff plays fair. Most see that he is not doing so. For Pelosi to put him in charge was a big mistake. He has conducted his committee in a totally biased, partisan way. As they say "what goes around comes around". The House under Speaker Ryan did nothing and the House under Pelosi has done nothing.
The Democrats don't have one Candidate worth a penny. Socialism has ended all great Countries, historically. It just doesn't work.

Schools have stopped teaching U.S. And World History. And those that do have taken a biased approach. No wonder millennial don't have a clue. Reminds me of the Nazi Party that brainwashed the young to the point they went against family and friends. This is why Trump is fighting to push back on the corrupt Government.

This is why we the Moderates and Republicans are pushing back on the rogue House and Democrats.

Let them have their pretend impeachment. It might keep a few of them from developing even deeper neurosis.
