HOR, 10/16/2019: FINAL VOTE RESULTS FOR ROLL CALL 560 (HJ Res 77)

    This is the link to the vote for House Resolution to condemn Trump's military pullout from Syria:

    Important to note is that the US HOR (both parties) found the resolution important enough to vote to suspend normal House rules and vote immediately on the Resolution, which was just introduced one day before.

    The resolution passed with 354 yeahs to 60 nays (there were also 4 listed as present and 14 who did not cast a vote). Of the 354 yeahs, 225 were Democrats and 129 were Republicans.

    This mean that 2/3 of the Republican caucus in the HOR just sided with the Democratic caucus to condemn Trump's moves in Syria.

    In this day and age, it's rare to see such a crushingly large bipartisan vote on anything in the US House of Representatives, and yet, it happened today.

    I wonder if President Trump is gonna submit to an overwhelming condemnation of the Democrat infested House, bend over and grab the ankles, resign the presidency and assign his fortune to the charity of DNC’s choice? What do you think?

    That surprised the living schiest out of me. About fornicating time that Congress is finding their balls. Albeit they have not yet found brass ones but at least it appears they found alluminum ones.

    Yup, lots of RINOs in the House, 57% of Republicans nationwide approve of leaving Syria. Tell them we're fighting an invasion of illegals and a coup, call the UN.

    Perhaps some on the internet warriors here would like to go die for the Kurds.

    In this day and age, you are right. But this is years overdue and it should have been a motion of censor or condemnation him for his conduct discussed in the Mueller report. If that kind of bipartisan statement of opposition to Trump siding with Putin over our intelligence agencies, or firing Comey, or threatening to fire Rosenstein, or threatening to fire Mueller etc, we might not be dealing with this Ukraine mess now.

    He had every right to fire those people, as Comey said 'for any reason or no reason'. Rosenstein, the traitor who wanted to bring in the 25th Amendment to remove a duly elected POTUS, then lied to Trump about it.

    There are a couple of reasons that are illegal on their face. You cannot fire people because of the race, religion ethnicity etc. It is illegal. period. You cannot fire someone in order to impede a criminal investigation. That is illegal. Now whether or not those threats or firings constitute a crime is up to an investigation to determine which means finding our why they were really fired. .

    We balanced the books at Tora Bora. We didn't need to, and politically cannot maintain a forever presence there, that's the lesson here.

    We won in Iraq but couldn't politically see it through. Democratic / representative government has limits. We reached the limit long ago in the ME. Time to go.

    Keep the reprisals to Tora Bora's scale. In, kill the immediate baddies, leave. Repeat as necessary, but always leave.
