Gee.. looks as tho' they brokered a cease fire after we pulled all fifty of our troopers out. ….good, no reason we should have been assisting commie terrorist anyway. Originally Obama put US tropps in for a month, that was ten years ago.

It's so very tiring to answer an argument I didn't make.

I am NOT saying that Trump didn't win or that he is an illegitimate President. I AM saying that he did not get the majority of the votes cast and is not therefore, the President the people of the US wanted in 2016.

I think that will become clear in 2020, when we vote ALL the Trumpers out, and probably end the Republican Party as a viable political entity forever in revenge for this arrogant bullshit we have had to put up with all this time.

Bush won the same way in 2000, but nobody really cared. This is because Bush didn't really go out of his way to claim that the election meant EVERYBODY just LOVED him but recognized that he'd won by a statistical fluke and made some efforts to reconcile with the losers. The Trumpers slogan has been "**** you we won" and CONTINUES to be such 3 years into his term.

Lol, can you blame him?? The left has done nothing but make up BS stories to try to get something to stick enough to impeach him since election night.

Oh bullshit too. He has been investigated just like any other President would be, it isn't our fault that he's crookeder than a dog's hind leg. The only thing that's keeping him out of jail right now is the fact that he IS President.

You literally said “Trump won the electoral vote. We won the election.” No, no you didn’t. Trump did. And I know you’re not a Trump supporter.

The popular election IS the popular vote. It DETERMINES the Electoral Vote, so it is still the most important part. The fact that that the winner take all rule in most of the States can make the candidate with the least votes the winner is a statistical fluke that I don't believe the Founding Fathers considered, otherwise they would have written winner-take-all into the Constitution and not left it up to the States.

In any case, I am NOT arguing that point here. I only say that Trump was NOT the choice of the majority of the people and the Trumper's constant reiteration that his being President means everybody loves him and non-Trumpers are this tiny minority of sore losers who need to get their MAGA hats and be cheeing at the Rallies is yet another way Trumpers deny any reality they disagree with, even when it stares them in the face.

65 million exceeds 62 million. I don't care who the President turns out to be.

And Trump would have opposition even if he'd won the popular vote as well. Trump and Trumpers act as if any opposition is treason. That is the first, foremost and most salient point of any tyrant and it is the main reason why Trump scares me so, and should scare you and any American just the same.

So why didn't Turkey wait until after the US troops were withdrawn from the area?

Maybe HRC will try once again to be president? If so the talking about what HRC would or would not do might be relevant.

....no idea, I would guess it's because the Turkey military does not directly talk with the US military and so they took Trump at his word (which is a ****ing dumb thing to do) that the US military would be evacuated in time.

No Trump just let terrorists walk away, or with the Taliban, paid them to meet.

You do know we share a base in Turkey so where do you get that we do not speak to each other?

Like I said, it was a guess. Why do you think Turkey attacked before the US had completely withdrawn?

I was responding to a ****ing question and I offered a theory. I then asked for your response to his question after you pointed out a flaw in my theory. What's wrong with you?

But you want my opinion on the topic?

Trump abandoned American allies on a ****ing whim, left them to be slaughtered and tortured by the thousands, and effectively freed a 1000 ISIS prisoners. He also just forced every single American ally around the world to question American commitment to them.

Whats wrong with me for pointing out flaws in your theories?? Then you resort back to copy and paste nonsense?

You make assumptions based on lack of knowledge and your personal bias and then you are upset when its pointed out to you?

Dear god at least act like a lawyer.. Do not discuss topics you are unaware of the basic facts.. How the hell did you not know we have a base in Turkey?

Maybe 29 USA personnel, as many as 50 being pulled out? On a mission Obama ordered that was supposed to last a month, but last ten years? "Abandoning" our well paid allies, a bunch of radical commies themselves (on the terrorist watch list), well.. "the enemy of my enemy is my friend"; remember we had to ally with Stalin in WWII.

AND a cease fire has been brokered that supposedly both side can tolerate..

This was and is ginned up to the max... MSM pushing the narrative as usual , complete with the fakest of news; stock video of a firing range drill in Kentucky passed off as the Turkish Invasion of those peace loving Kurds. (who, like most MEers have been fighting their neighbors for millennia.)

In other words, you don't like the system that elected him and now want to change it because the annointed one lost.

I've been watching politics for decades, and I've never seen anyone come even close to actually fixing anything, yet a freakin' New York City playboy, millionaire/billionaire real estate developer/showman to whom 4 years ago I wouldn't have contributed a dime (can't afford his facilities, couldn't afford the trip to stay in one!) to , with overwhelming opposition from BOTH parties (or perhaps "one side" the DC Elite profiting handsomely from their positions??) steps in an FIXES things..

of course DC hates him.. that started when he skipped their expensive swampy campaign organizers, DC swamp rats have a lot to lose if D. Trump is successful (and news.. he is, wildly so) and defied ever other convention that has kept Conservatives, mired and slowly sinking, in the Swamp.
I can only guess why some people on this board hate him, the only thing that would mke sense to my way of thinking is if they get lotsa of money (or enough money) from the system that opposes the President. I fear most of them those have been severely miseducated.

Did I say I wanted to change anything?

Though having all the states would be the fair way to do things, and something like 14 states do that now. but i forget, you're conservatives, you would never win at all if the contest wasn't rigged in your favor

Because the US military is so hard to track in Syria. Maybe you can try with a better answer? Or better yet close this BS thread.

Maybe you should answer your own question if you think mine is inaccurate.

Turkey had been bluffing for a year or more to invade that region and held off because American troops were in the region. They did not invade until Trump revealed he had no spine because he thought Turkey was also bluffing and would never actually invade.

Certainly a possibility...OR, he deliberately threw the Kurds overboard in order to fulfill a campaign promise, to hold his "base" for the 2020 election.
