And how do you wish to prove that they will be paying "at cost" and note that you also need to prove that "at cost" is a market rate?

This is just a dumbbbbbb move by the Trump administration given the timing. These republican Senators are trying to defend him and he just throws more needless fire their way

 

It's a bold move to ask the people defending you (republican Senators) to have to answer about this too on top of defending the Ukraine ordeal and the Syria Ceasefire.

 

Did you miss the part 'at cost'? The Emoluments, give me a break, by that reasoning Obama should have been impeached by accepting the Nobel Prize from a foreign entity.

That's well and good I'm just speaking from a strategic view when I'm speaking. Let's say it's worth the Democrat backlash to highlight Joe Bidens dealings and the medias refusal to cover it why add this to the mix? It's just another thing the msm reporters are gonna hound republican Senators for a soundbite.

 

Even if they get rented at cost it is still a payment. It doesn't need to be a profit. it is my understanding that if a President is given a gift by a foreign nation - even something of no monetary worth - they can't take it without approval by Congress.

Profit isn't the issue, payment is.

 

If Fox is up Trump on this...Houston, there is a problem.

 

Expect the distractions to ramp up as Trumpsters attempt to bury this. As even Fox realises it can't defend Trump the number of right wingers dismissing it as the 'never Trump network' will increase. Expect attacks on Napolitano too.

Basically the mob is waiting for its talking points. The first one was 'no profit/saving taxpayer dollars'. With that one blown out of the water they will have to change tack. There will be some 'whataboutism', more attacks on Biden and, of course, lots of mentions of Obama & the Clintons Amusing to watch, if desperately sad.

Is this patriotism? Screw ethics and laws, as long as I am made whole (i.e. get my tax cut)? What happened to doing the right thing? Or does the end justify the means?
