No wonder Pocohantas doesn't want to give a Yes or No answer on if her Medicare for all plan is going to raise the Taxes of the Middle Class. $34 TRILLION with a T over the next 10 years to pay for this Thing. The CBO expects the Federal Government to collect $46 Trillion from all sources over the next 10 years, so that single Program will use 2/3 of all the revenue collected. Just for you Math Impaired, there are One Thousand Millions in a Billion and One thousand Billions in a Trillion, so $34 Trillion is 34,000 X a $1Billion. She is going to BANKRUPT America with her Lies and Money grows on Tree's idea's. of providing Healthcare to even Millions of more Illegals that she wants to allow into the country.

Bernie pointed that out during the last debate.

In the interest of more math, that is cost of about $11 thousand dollar per year for every person in the country.

That would cost my family 44,000, but government is better at it amiright?

I know that, but Elizabeth Warren is the DNC front runner and she absolutely can't admit that Middle class taxes are going up to pay for this. I think her evasiveness and lack of transparency is going to destroy her Presidential Bid if she makes it to the General Election in 2020.

in all honesty, i don't think they will ever do anything they're spewing, it's all fodder for votes & the weak will follow them to their own demise

MFA is a specious campaign talking point for Sen Warren. The insurance lobby will never allow members of Congress to consider such quixotic legislation. She can promulgate the proposal to her hearts content...

It's just scary to think she could actually become President. I don't think she will, but it's possible. The economy is doing pretty good right now, but she wants to destroy that for all of us who've worked hard for Decades and give a substantial portion of hard working middle class Tax payers income to people who haven't done anything to earn it, because she believes she knows how to better spend our money then we do.

That strangely enough is around what we pay now..

You see my wife and i are somewhat successful and neither of our employers offers insurance and we make far to much for the freebie err subsidy err tax pay dollars so we just recieved our latest insurance for next year.. $990 a month with a 15k deductible...

    Isnt Obamacare wonderful?

Our insurance agent let us know people that make less then we do get the same plan for $180 a month... I'm sure they love it ~

    You know what's eye-popping?

The fact that the Pentagon cannot account for about $22 trillion, close to the same figure that is the national debt.

That one federal agency cannot find an amount of money equal to the national debt is astounding.

Needless to say, just a small portion of those missing funds would easily pay for universal healthcare.

The other thing Democrats won't tell you is when they say Medicare for all, they mean anyone on earth that makes it to America. If Democrats come to power, you will compete with everyone on earth to receive healthcare you pay for.

Raise your hand if you want the American people to pay for the healthcare and welfare of any foreign national that makes it to America...

The Democrat party is a globalist party that represents the interests of everyone on earth in American politics. If you believe Democrats have Americans interest at heart, you're living in the past.

That number is just an estimate of what it would take to get the program off the ground. It in no way includes the cost of the obligation promised by the program, which over time will only grow exponentially.

I’ve heard similar things like that before... it was wrong then and wrong now. Here is the New York Times explaining it to you:

Good video however he missed a basic point. In the scenario of the Government doubling the currency that would lead to double the wages is not true.

I think he realizes that. It's a mental experiement. Even if wage behaves exactly the way proponents intended (a doubling of wage), the effect is not what they intend. (No positive change in the wage's ability to purchase things)

Let's pay for healthcare for all with the number of dollars real estate value lost during the housing bubble. We could really have good care if we add in the money from the dotcom crash.

    Not really.

Those missing dollars are for 17 years from 1998 until 2017. That equates to $1.23 trillion per year or $12 trillion over 10 years.

The cost of healthcare would be 34 trillion. The waste you speak of doesn't come close to covering the cost (35%).

Also, you are attributing all 21 trillion to the Pentagon. Which is false. 6.5 trillion of that was lost by HUD.
