Trump is going to be impeached and there is going to be a trial. His personal lawyer's four criminal associates were arrested at two different airports when trying to flee the country. The whistle blower started an avalanche of admissions up the trump himself calling for foreign interference in our elections by China, Russia, and the Ukraine. His own Chief of Staff admitted on national tv to quid pro quo for political influence. He said it's done all the time. He said it four times! By the time he realized he just admitted to a crime, it was too late.

Bottom line: there is already enough information out there to convict trump. Finally finally finally, the reality of the thug criminal selling the WH is going to be undeniable. Trumpers are going to see that trumpy dumpty and his great wall, will take a great fall. And they won't be able to put him together again.

    Welcome to reality.

While I agree that there is more than enough evidence to impeach the BLOTUS the POLITICS are going to make the determination as to whether this even reaches a vote in the House.

Pelosi needs to be certain that there are sufficient votes to remove him in the Senate.

If there are not enough then the BLOTUS can play the VICTIM card and potentially win a 2nd term.

In which case it would be better to allow We the People to flush his YUUUUGE orange ass out of the Oval office.

If we fail to do so then just restart the impeachment process in 2021.

Well considering the leftist haven't got a one to stick, I'd think they are the ones taking one to the chops ;)

Do you have any insight into a timeline? When should we expect the house to impeach?

McConnell and Pelosi have already talked and agreed to move forward. Otherwise McConnell never would have said this:

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/18/us/politics/mcconnell-impeachment-senate.html

McConnell has been waiting for an opportunity to take trump out. Many Republicans have. They just needed enough evidence to sway public opinions among his tentative supporters.

Don't know. But McConnell is already educating Senators on the process of an impeachment trial. So obviously he doesn't think it will take long.

Interesting. A trial would be fun to watch.

GOP senators have been given the opportunity to save the party from Trumpery.........if it isn't too late. Whether they will do so is an open question.

I'm not betting any money on Trump being impeached - but we can absolutely say that Trump is a more decisive President than Obama was. The highest percentage of people who thought Obama should be impeached was about 15%. About 50% of those polled (even by Fox News) think that Trump should be impeached. And the longer Pelosi waits, the more Republicans are starting to cross the fence, especially after the the Turkey fiasco.

There is still a lot more evidence to come. This week the entire scandal has taken on a deadly serious tone even among many GOP Senators. This is classic foreshadowing when they know more than the media. They know they have serious crimes on their hands.

Kucinich had never called for trump to be impeached. But he did last night.

They just need to reveal what they know in a trial so the public can see for itself.

Indeed. As soon as Don was inaugurated everyone knew the government was open for business. The news cycle is replete with examples.

The Debunked Biden Allegations Are Incredibly Useful To Dmitry Firtash
    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/muckr...tions-are-incredibly-useful-to-dmitry-firtash

"Firtash has been fighting a U.S. extradition request for five years, calling it politically motivated, and has begun to boost allegations against the Bidens as part of that campaign, hitching himself to the Trump train. He’s spent years wrapped up in his legal battles while stuck in the Austrian capital of Vienna, where he was located at the time the indictment dropped.

Bloomberg reported on Friday that Firtash had paid around $1 million for a dirt-digging project on the Bidens. American lawyers he hired with ties to Trumpworld reportedly hoped to transfer the information to Giuliani in exchange for the Justice Department dropping the case."

    I Agree.

You probably couldn't get 20 GOP Votes to Convict Trump, even if he committed murder on Live TV.

McConnelll's GOP is too power hungry to throw Trump under the Bus...

(Even though Trump is an AMERICA-HATING RACIST Who Craps on the Constitution and Commits TREASON on an hourly basis).

Sadly, It is what it is. :smh:

And he didn't have all the weird personal baggage that Hillary and Trump carry around. The whole White House has become a spin-off of the Kardashians with Trump in the room.

Basically Obama seemed to always be calculated of course their were times when he wasnt but generally he seemed to have good self awareness whereas Hillary and Trump just say what they think regardless.

Is there any concern amongst impeachers that Trump and the GOP are deliberately trying to get a senate trial?

well we dont yet know how this Trump thing plays out it could turn out to be worse for the party to not convict.

I think Mitch is running ads about how hell defend Trump so that and Trump still has pretty good support from the Republican base.
