How do you save money by raising taxes.

But we know single payer systems provide better care than ours, and does so at a fraction of the cost of ours. Not wanting to get better care for less money, is just silly.

Single payer systems are cheaper than ours. Taxes go up, but at a lower amount that what you are already spending on private insurance. I know math is hard for you guys. But paying less for something means you save money.

Plenty of Doctors do not accept medicare already.. Medicare already runs into massive issues one being fraud..
Its already due to have issues starting 2026....
So no we do not know it will be better it will more then likely be far worse.

    Empirical reality shows otherwise.

Things you hope will happen in the future are not empirical facts.

Right. Single payer providing better care at a fraction of the cost is empirical fact. That’s why I corrected you.

I'm only sure that I know a helluva lot more on Health Care policy than you do.

There is no reason for insurance companies to be involved in the health care business other than as profit-making corporations. They add no real medical value and all they do is skim $billions from the pot that could be spent on actual medical procedures.

Why shouldn't he? It's his wages earned, despite your belief that it belongs to you

Well, we know that’s false because you seem to not know what single payer is, or that Medicare is single payer.

When your tax money gets given to him, he saves money. Get it?

That's an erroneous conclusion that you made up. I assume to cover the fact that you don't understand health care policy.

Great! Then you understand Medicare is single payer, and implementing Medicare for all will drastically lower the cost of healthcare in the US! Glad you’ve finally comprehended.

You could apply that logic to any capitalist venture. Are you a communist?

    And here is the key!

Please explain by what mechanism Medicare for All will "drastically lower the cost of healthcare."

Profit is entirely removed. Less overhead than private insurance. Much greater bargaining power than numerous private carriers. This is why every first world nation that has it, gets better care at a fraction of the cost of our system.

The math will NEVER add up. If you taxed everything the rich earned it wouldn't pay for it and that for just one year, next year they would have even less and then less and then less and at the same time taxing what they already own and they have less and less of that every year. Warren is an economic IDIOT. She knows nothing about the economy or business.

Medicare for all = end of Medicare. We seniors who were forced to pay into it all our lives and now are on it will never allow that. If Warren and Sanders want some single payer government run healthcare they will be doing it for everyone else and once everyone else finds out how much they will be taxed to fund it..................

Democrats will force senior citizens to compete with foreign nationals for health care that they paid for

SICKENING Democrats, Me and every other Hard working, Tax paying LEGAL! American has been paying into a system, so that when we get to retirement age, we will still have Health insurance, but the Liberals want to give it to Illegals immediately who sneak into the country and HAVEN'T paid one plug Nickle towards Medicare, so they get a free ride in order to create more Democratic voters.
