    I don't know who clem is, but moral and ethical principles are a constant, not something that varies from one decade to another based on TDS.

    Just so I have this straight
    The Kurds have a small area of Syria and Assad more or less left them alone but it was inevitable that when they (Syria) had a civil war that Turkey would take advantage of it and go to wipe them out because they considered them a PIA but didn't because the US had aligned with them to fight ISIS but Trump said we would step aside for Turkey to claim that part of Syria. So while you say the are was surrendered to the government you mean the Turkish government (which had no claim to it) and not the Syrian government (that did).
    And that's OK.
    Did I get that right?
