Charade and nothing else. Smoke to calm down the brexit morons. Its mostly old people. I guess if they play this long enough the old farts die off and this drama ends.

I travelled back and forth from Brussels or the Netherlands and England regularly for many many years - as well as travelling in Europe itself. My passport was always necessary even when I had a Belgique identity/domicile card - In Europe one is daft not to have an ID card or a Passport - nuts. In all of the Continental EU countries I know it is illegal not to carry photo ID and proof of domicile. Of course oe can travel on the continent without being stopped by woe betide you if you ever are without a passport or an EU ID.
My British passport was stolen once, the day before I was due home --- I took every form of ID I could gather and had a hell of a job getting out - getting in was fine.

    ICE? Give us a break!

ICE is the german highspeed train. The service would end with BREXIt. Which means German trains would not go London anymore.

You think there are no young Brexiteers? Even in London even I know a few --- We will Leave on or nr the 31st. Boris, when Parliament finally has to agree to a GE, will gain a majority Gov, most Remoaners will lose their seats, and forward we will go -

The EU will put pressure on Parliament to vote for the deal. Then the even tricker part of it will be getting a GE!

I mostly agree with your take on things, but nothing you have written suggests that the leave victors have any idea what to do about the Irish border.
Even if there was a General Election where brexit supporters get 650 seats the issue regarding what to do about the UK/EU land border remains.
    Do you see?

Yes they do. The border customs will be digitally controlled, from the point of departure and the point of delivery, but until that, as a system, is set up NI stays within the single market for goods to and from the EU but with the UK in our free trade agreements abroad and taxes. The Scots are jealous they say they want such a deal too. After four years the NI can then chose what they want to do about it.

Most of the Remoaners in Parliament now will lose their seats - that is why the are refusing us an GE - they are hated by Remain voters and Leave voters alike - they have trampled all over our constitution and Bercow has --- hovering dangerously close to illegality --- broken more Parliamentary conventions than we knew we had.

The DUP work closely with the EGR ( European Research Group) Steve Baker is the man. They will work it out.

Could be. I got the impression that the EU (who doesn't want a Brexit) would hope for endless delays resulting in another referendum. (which might result in a "remain")

Oh really? The North and Wales voted Leave and what are their MPs doing? That is where the Brexit Party will come in 'cos such seats can never --- well only by a miracle --- vote Con. Labour will keep immigrant areas ( by fraud or otherwise) - Lib dems??? gone I should imagine --- they should not have denied women the vote for so long! ( joke)

Split votes are the only danger to a large Con majority - as things are today.

No, they are sick to death of it. Another referendum would bring violence to the streets - no-one wants that. Europe is on fire anyway - they all have big problem of their own to sort out.

The only referendum being talked about would give a choice of Remain or an as yet unspecified Deal. There is no talk of a re run of the 2016 referendum.

That vote of yore is well beyond its effective expiratory date, and the public is now far more knowledgeable concerning the ramifications of leaving the EU.

Why not allow the far more enlightened Brits of today to express their democratic will rather than be hidebound to that of their less enlightened forebears?

Tusk offered May a Canada style arrangement, after the referendum, which she turned down.

Yes - in the last, 2011, consensus it was 45% but it will be less now. Cameron said then that that would be the last census ever but thank God he has gone -- God he was a bad bad bad PM even if he did give us our referendum ( by default) -- the next will be in a couple of years, 2021. All the old working class areas are immigrant class areas or gentrified now - and it is soo soo expensive.

The saddest thing is that London is just being knocked down with horrid soulless buildings going up where there used to be character. My daughter still lives there so I go back often but find it heartbreaking -

So how you think will the UK rejoin the EU in next years after brexit? The majority of young people is against all this.

Also what trade deals you expect to get? You are a smsll country without negotiation power.

It is not so that most young people are Remoaners - They are not especially in the Midlands, North and Wales.

Ummmm we already trade in the big wide world whose, every trade route used today, we forged - we forged and we are still there in every nook and tiny cranny - Just because a nasty old peado took those eight peieces of gold it doesn't mean that we are all after those eight pieces for the price of a child!

We are and always were a small country - so? Since being in the EU we have become dull - silenced, oppressed and just dull - it might take a wee while but we will start laughing and smiling again - and who cares for great riches if we find a happier existence?

Brexit was never about trade - with that we have never had a problem
