There has been unrest in the Middle East for, well ever...there was a chance for peace during the Arab Spring but we lacked leadership

That’s not a recession. That’s what happens when you get full employment

What about them? How has anything been destroyed? Last I checked the Dept Iof Education was still there

How many of those 60,000 would have been killed anyways if there was no Vietnam War ?

Serving in the U.S.military is a very dangerous job during war time and also peace time.
Training for war is a deadly serious job and soldiers, sailors, Marines and airmen get killed.

What shooting war was America involved in during the first year under Reagan in 1981 ?
2.380 American soldiers, Marines, sailors and airmen were killed while on active duty in the military.

During the Bush (43) administration while fighting two wars in Afghanistan and Iraq the year with the highest casualties was in 2005 with 1,929 deaths.

That’s the literal definition of a recession. If two quarters are lower than the last it is classified as recession.

I can post the definition if needed...

They are undercutting the mission statement of the department.
What qualifications does Devos have besides huge campaign contributions?

I never said we were in a recession, I have said manufacturing is in recession. Which you agreed with and basically said so what?

Now you are trying to create false arguments not made.

    I can’t disprove something that isn’t there
    We have 3.5 percent UE
Your article literally says the day to day work at the EPA has changed little...but moral is down because of the never ending speculations from leftist propaganda,..hahaha

You cannot prove that manufacturing is not in recession, but I can prove (and have done so) that it is.
Thus you conceede, please pick the next item you feel is parody.

    From the article
“nominated Scott Pruitt to head the agency—a man who had spent his career filing lawsuits to block a variety of EPA regulations.”

“The president has sought to slash its budget by nearly one-third, and Pruitt’s team has tried to weaken the part that science plays in setting environmental regulations. He barred some top researchers from participating in EPA advisory panels, and replaced them with scientists who are more friendly to industry. All of this has elevated the power of corporations to influence the rules that govern chemicals and pollutants.”

“What most troubles many EPA scientists is the Trump administration’s systematic and unprecedented effort to undermine the way in which science is used by the agency. Scientists there say they and their work have been largely ignored by senior EPA leadership. And despite Pruitt’s resignation, few expect the administration’s overarching EPA strategy to change once Trump appoints a new administrator. For now, the leadership reins fall to Andrew Wheeler, a former coal lobbyist. In a pair of tweets announcing Pruitt’s resignation, Trump said that Wheeler would “continue on with our great and lasting EPA agenda”.

    Try again

    no you haven’t

Just because this admin has a different policy with the EPA doesn’t mean he has destroyed it. It’s simply different policy. As the article highlights though the day to day operations haven’t changed

    Yes I have.

It doesn’t matter if their work hasn’t changed if it is simply being ignored.

Having a different policy than what the institutions were created for is destroying the institution.

So would you like to pick the next “parody” in my post so I can address it — since you have gone from not understanding, to agreeing with (but deeming irrelevant) to lying about , and now ignoring manufacturing data.

The only parody here is your integrity

They don’t have a different policy then what the agency was created for. The agency was created to enforce the clear air act and clean water act, they are still doing that

So after calling eight separate items you claimed were parody the only one you can seize on is opinion. (Ignoring that people heading these institutions lobbied against them prior to their consideration.)

    ok

    I accept your concession.
