And I agree that everybody is entitled to whatever level of approval or disapproval of any politician. That IS NOT the issue. The issue is people coming up to a member of congress minding his own business eating lunch- (not even their own congressman) and bursting into a tantrum in public. That constitutes public harassment without provocation, and enough so to make it subject to criminal charges such as at least disturbing the peace. How would you feel is people you didn't know or represent in any way approached you at a public place and started screaming insults in your face? Would you see that as just expressing his opinion?

I disapprove of many politicians- and I would never ever trash my own dignity or respect with an act like that. I would never disrespect even the most disliked of them like that- because I'm an adult, not a spoiled selfish brat that thinks all politicians have the duty to keep me happy, and if I disagree I can make an ass of myself and it's somebody else's fault that I chose to make as ass of myself.

If you don't understand the issue here- it's not the right to an opinion, it's the question of openly creating a public scene and committing a verbal assault because you don't like someone else's opinion.
If you fail to see the difference, I feel you aren't qualified to speak to it. But I do wish you a society around you that treats you in that same way, that you may someday realize it's ignorant, arrogant and abusive- neither politics or opinion, just thuggery. By people who have long been old enough to know better- but apparently don't.
