The Kurds are showing just how friendly they actually are. We don't need to fight for them.

I guess it was only a matter of time until Dims turned their "Russian asset/puppet" jackassery on themselves. It's fun watching them cover each other in their own feces...

In 2016, when she endorsed Bernie, it was a giant F-U to the corrupt DNC and to Hillary Clinton. I suspect that that is what motivated her more than Bernie's socialism.

She is a self-proclaimed progressive. She has endorsed much of the progressive agenda. I, btw, am not a progressive.

But she is right on foreign policy, in my opinion. She identifies Al Qaeda as our enemy that must be confronted. But she does not want our blood and treasure spent on endless, destructive regime change wars. I agree with these positions.

She is unabashedly patriotic. (On her website she recites the Pledge of Allegiance. Try to find anything like that on the others' websites.)

She has a strong streak of independence from the political machine, much like Trump actually.

I am an Independent, leaning conservative. I would be most likely to vote for someone who holds views closer to mine than she does. But there is one thing I won't do, and that is that I won't vote for a warhawk who thinks we must be in a war somewhere forever and that a military assault is always the answer to anything we don't like in the world. I've done that before, and I won't do it again. So let's just say, for example, that in 2024 the race for president came down to Lindsey Graham vs Tulsi Gabbard. I would vote for Tulsi. That's just an example, and if the time ever comes where she is the Dem nominee, and I have to make a choice, I'll decide then. For 2020, I'm going with Trump.

I have a feeling she will not be the "tallest midget" in 2024 or 2028. So we shall see ...

If Tulsi Gabbard ditched her commie brainwashing and become a Republican, she'd be a star.

The newest smear I have seen today is calling her a nationalist-because she wanted the US out of Syria.

There were no assumptions at all.

Trump, our military, Republican congressmen all have been very clear.

    Lol!

The issue is that we changed our approach to ISIS, Syria, Turkey, Israel, Russia and Iran without forming a new plan.

Rand Paul explicitly asked that that NOT be the case. And, other Republicans as well as our military are astounded at this snap pullout.

Trump left our allies, the Kurds, running for their lives as our OWN TROOPS had to run.

There is now NO plan on moving forward, ISIS captives HAVE been released, Russia HAS moved in to fill our void.

Suggesting this is a rational way to conduct foreign policy is just plain IGNORANCE.

    Bullpoop.

Rand Paul still supports the withdrawal of troops, as does Tulsi Gabbard.

Ilhan Omar and AOC flip flopped, because they're hypocrites, and they sold out their fake anti-American occupation of the Middle East convictions in order to score some political hit points against Trump.

That's not even worthy of debate. We've made major mistakes in the ME all the way back to WW I. Whether recent acts have been mistakes and who they should be attributed to is not relevant to the issue at hand.

We have NEVER in all those years taken action in a method and with the consequences of the snap decision to abandon our allies and run without even discussing it with our MILITARY, let alone providing a way for our allies to retreat and ISIS fighters to remain in custody.

    THAT is the issue.

AGAIN, the issue isn't whether we should retreat.

    The issue is how.

NOBODY (outside of Trump) was operating under the assumption that our retreat would be a snap decision that left our allies and their families running for their lives, ISIS prisoners to be freed, and NO PLAN for the ramifications that extend all the way to Iran, Russia and Israel.

EVERYBODY would like us not to be in Syria - especially when nobody is considering the ramifications of NOT being in Syria!

Which only goes to show just how corrupt, out of touch, and phony the Democratic party is these days...

Apparently, being a veteran, a female, a person of color, a religious minority, and a principled progressive isn't enough to succeed as a Democrat these days.

Instead, Democrats are looking to a white woman who lied about being a native American and an old white man who fondles children in public.

    Way to be, Democrats.

There's never a good time. Thinking that we can pull off a negotiated, diplomatic withdrawal is a pipe dream, and the belief that such a fairytale exists is what keeps us mired in forever wars.

They've been at each other's throats for over a thousand years, do you really think we can ask them to play nice, wait for a lull in the action, back away slowly, and it'll all turn out peachy?

If ya do, then yer dreaming.

Pull the Band-Aid off quick, and get us out of that nest of vipers.

    And stay out.

Gee, I don't know... maybe the fact that Elizabeth Warren lied about being a native American for years?

Funny how that gets overlooked by the frauds in the Democratic base.

An actual woman of color, Tulsi, is hated and despised, while a white woman pretending to be a minority is loved and respected.

It's like something written by Kafka.

Joe Biden, weirdly fondles women and children, in public, and has a record of gaffes a mile wide. Oh, and he was behind some of the least liberal policies in recent memory, including the Clinton crime bill and the war in Iraq.

Wow. That was so hard. I had to think for like two whole seconds to come up with that.

If the Russians are supporting Tulsi, then we must conclude that the Russians really love America and want the best for it.

I disagree with her on a lot of issues, but that is how America works.

Tulsi was in Iraq doing medical work while my guys and I in 1/9 Cav were there fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq, which eventually became known as ISIS. I have always said that the only military occupation other than infantry that gets my respect as a combat infantryman, is the medic. Tulsi Gabbard has my respect.

I will vote for her in the Democratic primary, and if she somehow pulls it out against all the odds, I will watch her and Trump go toe to toe. I think she would give Trump as much as he can handle and then some.

Hillary Clinton is the puppet, not Tulsi Gabbard.
