Seattle police confiscate weapons from right wing Neo-Nazi.

I have long found the anarchists of the Northwest to be intriguing. Their primary cause is that corporations should not rule the world. It is not capitalism that they oppose, it is capitalism controlled by a small group, that they oppose. They have done much to slow the growth of Walmart in the Northwest.

For the most part they aren't that violent, not really. Sure property gets damaged, but very few people ever get injured. In fact, the police most likely have injured far more protestors, than the protestors injured others or themselves. It has a lot to do with why so many wear padding.

Look at the riot in Seattle of 1999. A big disruption, some property damage, but almost no injuries. That is the nature of protests in the Northwest. It is the disruption, to get out the message, that is the goal. If lighting trash cans on fire and breaking a few windows, gets that disruption, that attention to the cause at hand, then that is what happens. In any case, the protests that the anarchists get into, are often attended with thousands and thousands of allies. The protest in Seattle, over the WTO brought in tens of thousands of protestors.

The anti Trump protests in Portland equally drew very large crowds. The first was just the general outrage that our country could elect such a foul person, to be our president. Of course elements of the anarchists, went wild, breaking windows and starting fires, but almost no one was injured. The second protest was a woman's March, with many women being joined by their daughters. It was as large if not larger than the first protest, yet very peaceful. Their message was clear, that Trump was no friend of women. The third protest was organized by scientists and turned into an exploration of science. All with the underlying theme, as to the hostility to science that the likes of Trump brings to the forefront.


The Northwest right wing "protests" are of a different sort. They tend to have no more than two or three dozen protestors, and are often looking for a fight. They seem more intent on attacking liberals, rather than pushing an idea. Someone always ends up hurt.

I've never been a big fan of the police, but lately I've been able to observe them up close, considering the protests in Portland, and the curiosity that brings.

The Portland Police seem to do things quite intelligently during the protests. They seem to have eyes everywhere and will quietly pull a loose cannon aside, distracting him just long enough to keep him from doing something stupid.

Lately, mostly in the local papers, I have been hearing of the police and FBI arresting right wing agitators and charging them with felonies throughout the Northwest. The confiscation of Atomwaffen's guns may just be a part of that wider crackdown.

 

We had two instances this weekend in Philly with iinfants being shot.One an 11 month old riding in his car seat in the back seat of his mothers car shot 4 times through the trunk and rear of the vehicle,by whom or why they have no idea.This infant is being treated in the hospital for 4 major wounds and doctors agree he will never have a normal life.The second a 2 year old in his mothers arms inside their home,shots coming from outside the house wounding both mother and child,the childs being far more life threatening.Stupid idiotic life altering incidents all because it is so damn easy for morons to get guns in our gun loving country.

 

That is the point. In this country, one is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

 

We are not being told how this Neo-Nazi obtained the weapons that he had,legally or illegally???

People anywhere in the country that want guns can have them, as long as they have the money, whether in a liberal city or a conservative rural area.

People everywhere can acquire guns regardless of any law so long as they are willing to ignore the law.

If it weren't so easy to obtain guns, we would have far less gang bangers.

It's long past time that our police became pro active and began confiscating weapons from ANYONE who displays any kind of anti social behavior or prejudices.An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

I've become quite used to such irony coming from the left. They use tactics that come straight out of the Nazi party playbook, while calling anybody who complains a nazi.
