    Hmm, she's a former anesthesiologist, meaning she is a M.D. I would trust her views over yours.

    Also, this is a two year old article. Why are you quoting it in 2019, when it was written in 2017?

    Well since they live a lot longer and more healthy lives whiles receiving treatment the opportunities to spread this infliction grow. It is rare that someone gets HIV that does not lead a high risk lifestyle.

    Yes, quarantines are bad, but somewhat effective in stopping the spread of disease.

    Quarantines have also been misused throughout history.

    People are just ignorant about HIV. Contrary to popular belief HIV is not an easy disease to catch. As long as you don't have unprotected anal sex with people you don't know, and don't share needles, the chances of getting HIV is extremely slim.

    How funny that you say "people are just ignorant about HIV", and then you post something ignorant about HIV ---- which for the record is not just spread from anal sex, but vaginal sex also.

    I thought we were talking about America, but yeah if you want to bring foreign countries into it, then other forms of transmission rates would rise as well.

    I'll make her a deal. She can quarantine all AIDS victims if we can ban religious people from possessing and brainwashing children; and ruining their lives with horror story fairy tales, and threats of torture for eternity if they don't obey.

    This isn't a trust worthy article. The first quote is on record and absolutely commonsense.

    The second quote about the quarantine was a snippet out of place and the writer seemed to stick a "heresay" quote in as way to present it as credible. How did they get that quote?

    Agreed.. to knowingly infect someone with an illness should be a crime. Throw my damn coworker in the hokey.. I caught his **** and been sick for a week
