I have no interest in banning them from volunteering on private property. I have 5 kids and I had no issue bringing them to a gay wedding.

I certainly don't want religion pushed in school either. School prayer was rejected. If people can object to statues on public property and have them removed, these objectionable practices can be moved to private property as well. To ignore these objections is to create a double standard.

I don’t care if you ban drag queens from these events (they have always creeped me out) but have some actual justification behind doing it.

 

Libraries, like the grounds in which the objectionable statues were removed, are funded by tax payers. If tax payers don't want trannies, people dressed like nazis, etc using public resources, their objections are reasonable.

 

Taxpayers are bringing their children to these events.
Many believe these events are perfectly fine.

For some tax payers to overrule the wishes of other tax payers they must have a viable reason.

I am not anti gay. I am not in favor of most everything gays stand for such as same sex marriage, and the right to work with or around children.
