    I'm not questioning the value or lack thereof of the EC. My personal opinion is that I'm against it, but my proposition would not be to abolish it because I realize how contentious the issue is. My proposition would be to reform it. I'll get to that in a moment.

    I was pointing out what some people say about the EC. That it keeps the government out of the hands of the "West Coat masses" that being the large populations of cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles for having uneducated political views. I disagree with this opinion obviously, but it's to those people who hold these views I'm talking to.

    My suggested reform of the EC should be relatively unobjectionable. The names/identities of the electors (The literal human beings that cast votes on behalf of their states) should be published so that they are under more pressure to vote based on how the state votes (look up faithless electors) lest they risk their reputation in overturning the will of the voters. My second alternative reform would be to compel the electors by law to vote the way their state votes or the elector's vote will be null and void (making faithless electors illegal). My very specific problem with the EC other than the popular vote question is that of faithless electors.
