Everything about Trump is wrong from his lying and cheating to his pedophile friends.

    IMPEACH!

Unfortunately, to get rid of Donald Dork, it requires that he be assigned for destitution and that such be voted by both chambers of Congress.

Nixon's "departure" is a good example of what might happen again. About that precedence, from CNN here:

As much as we-the-sheeple should like to do so, it will not be easy to impeach Trump. Otoh, an impeachment trial would have a very negative impact upon his reelection - even if the outcome of a Senate vote was to not impeach. That's all that really matters, isn't it?

BUT, also, just faced with a vote to destitute him, like Nixon, Donald Dork might take the option to resign and get the hell out of DC . . . . .

PS: Historical note - this is the second-time in recent history that the Replicants have managed to get elected an individual totally unsuited for the job of the American presidency. Of course, it was we-the-sheeple that did the actual "electing" aided-and-abetted by a manipulation of the "Winner-Takes-All-Votes" of the Electoral College!

There are several actual differences between Nixon and Trump. First in the case of Nixon there actual real crimes. And Nixon was clearly eyeball deep in the cover up of those crimes though to date there isn't a lick of evidence that he had a priori knoedge of them.

On the other hand the only thing Trump is actually guilty off is a refusal to ignore leftists assaults on his character.

Trump gets all wound up with conspiracy theories.. like when he was a birther. He wastes time.

I would argue that the entire fed gov has been largely chasing conspiracy theories for the last three years and that the ones Trump opened the conversation with Ukraine are the least far fetched of the bunch.

Trump likes to hurt people .. He's all about revenge .. always has been.

This 2016 letter proves that GOP attacks on Biden over Ukraine are nonsense
It wasn’t just Biden who wanted reform in the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office. Republican senators did, too.

Biden was Trump's master play and the left wing media jumped on it like a fat dumb Trout rising to a dry fly on a warm spring day.

Understand something. Trump's known for three years that some duplicitous scum bags are listening in on his private conversations. So he threw Biden in at the end of the conversation without any real connection to the rest of it and let the media have a go. Result Biden goes from front runner to Maybe done after Iowa and new hampshire.

I'm not sure I know what you mean. Trump doesn't speak Ukraine and somebody listens to transcribe.

Gary, I'm pretty old and I do pay attention. I doubt Trump knows what was said in the telephone conversation.. Trump NEVER listens to anyone.. NOT ever.

An assumption not born out by first hand knowledge is just an assumption. Because Trump does not always take the advice of others does not mean he doesn't listen.

Sure. Of course, you will remember that Nixon obstructed justice in his attempt to keep the damning details from becoming known and was charged with such in his impeachment. That's something Trump is mirroring.

Your worry is palpable. New interviews bringing details to light every day that contradict the Trump narrative of his "perfect phone call" and, more importantly, the details and conversations that went on before and after that call, since the call didn't exist in a vacuum.

You can accuse the Democrats of being out to get him and you'd be right, but that doesn't make them wrong when they catch him.

What is disputed is what he was caught doing.

So Trump can make the crisis go away by releasing the transcript.

Nixon was the other one. He was no Donald Dork, but he was nonetheless a very devious president.

And what was it about that caused him to resign? This from WikiP here):

I wasn't a fan of Nixon, but he was not repulsive like Trump.

What is repulsive about President Trump or is it just Donald Trump who is repulsive? He has been surprisingly successful as President given the obstacles that are thrown in his way, things like an impeachment threat that began when he took office. While he is no beloved American figure I still find it hard to understand the vehemence of his attackers. Most of them can't even name a political action of his that they hate, just some personal feature like his weird hair. It's as if every accusation and epithet that has been thrown at him is the absolute truth. Just so you know, they are not.
