    I bought a special double/triple LP of Janis.One * song is very
    good.Over the years Joplin stuff was pretty boring.I think
    she was very serious about her Jazzy vocals.Never even remotely
    pretty or Feminine,she decided to make a name for herself as a
    Hippie type songtress with a flair for unique dress,bordering on
    outlandish.Grace Slick did it better and yet remained a semblance of
    a female,while Joplin just did her thing.Both Females had to expose their
    weakness for being pushy and demanding of their audience and of course
    their Boozing.
    Joplin owned a racy Porsche with a one-of-a-kind Psychedelic paint job.

    " I had never met anyone remotely like her.I never
    saw pathos in her public behavior.She was always the
    raucous ' Rising Sun ' Madam around me.More rage than
    whine,Janis knew how to put a searing point on an
    emotional pain. " -- Grace Slick

    It looks great!

    Maybe it would be hard to do, but I think it looks unnatural without a pupil.

    Love it! You guys are so talented. Other than a closetful of half finished craft kits, I've just never had that creative lean. ;)

    What Parochial School teaches as a life lesson for it's pupils is
    that Nuns { Not a single NuN } is more problematic than it's worth.
    How much is a Nun worth.? How much do you have to lose.

    I have one of these coming in the mail. It’s basically a finish it yourself kit of the rifle Robert Redford playing Jeremiah Johnson took from a frozen Hatchet Jack.

    the world,like wicker baskets,rugs,knick knacks ?
    I went to one around 10 years ago to buy a nice wine glass { I usually
    break a big Wine glass every few years when washing by hand }.
    Thank Goodness I have a professional masseuse on call whenever
    I need a good back scrubbing.Or udder necessity.With real professional
    names like Lola or Gerta { Gertie }.

    Robert Redford is a real conundrum.He's Not what he appears.
    He's still handsome with a full mop of hair.
    Did a movie - All is Lost - { 2013 } where not a word was spoken,I believe.
    A Movie where he's stranded aboard his sailboat and is slowly sinking.
    Very good,but slow movie.
    - A Walk in the Woods - { 2015 } with he and Nick Nolte is
    funny and a nice combination.Redford is a writer who is cautious
    and trendy,while Nolte is a former boozer who shows his age too
    obviously yet remains intact despite his old party ways.They differ
    on almost everything yet manage to find common ground once they
    get enmeshed in trouble along their supposedly simple hiking trail.
    Redford was at one time The Most unbelievably adored { due entirely to
    his natural good looks and credible straightforward persona }.
    I Bought a movie of his around a year ago { after I was convinced I need
    to see more of his older stuff } after liking - A Walk in the Woods -.
    - Thee Days of the Condor - { 1975 } which was very good and quite Redfordesque.
    I managed to catch some of Last Night's - The Candidate - { 1972 }
    Amazingly it seems more apropos in today's political atmosphere than
    humanly possible.
    I saw - The Iceman Cometh - years ago as a rental.
    I think it may have been the play version.
    His lone - The Twilight Zone - { Nothing in the Dark } 1962 was somewhat
    boring.
    I bought Season 2 of - Route 66 - last spring and never managed to
    get around to - First-Class Mouliak - Oct.20,1961 with Redford.

    He’s an actor, of course he is not what he appears. The root word of actor is “act”.

    Redford, like most actors, seems to be a vacuous twit in real life.

    By that I mean,unlike a Jimmy Stewart { A Republican " everyman " }
    Or a Henry Fonda { Liberal } or even a Melvyn Douglas { very Liberal }
    Redford is somewhat easily identified as a big Hollywood Liberal,
    Only after his move to Found The Sundance Film Festival.Before
    that he was kind of all over the place.
    Drifted around after College { University of Colorado } explains his love
    of Colorado doing odd jobs and then experimented in Paris after saving
    enough money as an artsy fartsy.
    Oddly enough he was a Pitcher on the U of C Baseball team on
    scholarship but lost it due to drinking.
    Was good friends with Natalie Wood { did 2 movies together } as
    he met her while in High school { Van Nuys } while a senior.
    The giveaway as to his Politics was more in line with his Lifelong
    friendship with Sidney Pollack { hidden treasure trove of Liberalism }
    " I don't know about liberal bias,but people of a liberal mentality are probably
    attracted in greater numbers to the arts than people of a conservative mentality."
    -- Sydney Pollack
    I can clearly see how effective his mentor Sanford Meisner was.
    Except I doubt he was taught in acting class about Conservation and
    vast stretches of wild land { which he owns in Utah }.
