Its funny how when faced with the hard truth that many Southern and Western cities PROVES that loose gun laws does NOT guarantee low crime, many folks here simply fall back on an old scapegoat: black people.

they dont talk about poverty, or lack of investment in education, or lack of good entry level jobs and middle class jobs, or good job training opportunities, they simply state "black people".

    wow.

Black account for about half of the gun deaths in the US in spite of having only about one seventh of the population. A black is much more likely to be killed by another black than by the police or a white person. What other conclusion can you come to with these facts?

I would take it step further. It is purely my opinion. Blacks kill with guns and own guns primarily because of gang activity. Whites generally keep guns for self defense and hunting. I realize that generalizations tend to be less than accurate, but those are my beliefs and my opinion can be changed.

Well I gotta say that one of the more ridiculous questions I have read here :) Might be because the Democrats are reluctant to disarm their voters.. You know, same reason we don't allow stop and search, gang harassment and heavy presence in their coveted ghettos.. But really what it boils down to is stupid Democrat politician that seem to cling the idea that making it harder for law abiding Americans to acquire a firearm is somehow making it harder for a known felon, drug dealers, gang members and thugs to own, carry and murder one another with them :)

It's pretty obvious you have been on the wrong end of this subject way to long, that single question alone is written proof of that!

WOW you were so close, but old habits and deep seated ideology wins almost every time.. Just replace "Black People" with the real label of Felons, thugs, drug dealers, murderers! The color is just racist spin! All those examples I gave come in every color under the sun, no ONE color has a monopoly on crime Ronstar!

I have to say I was totally shocked when I read the name of the OP! It was like watching someone trying to ride a bike for the very first time with no training wheels, and it was painful to watch ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

high poverty rate, lack of resources for job training, poor investment in public education, corporations moving tens of millions of good jobs out of the USA,

but go ahead, blame black culture and genetics. Its a real easy and lazy scapegoat.

All the cities you cited are controlled by Democrats.

Your thread is an epic fail.

Murder rates have been declining across the entire western world since the early 1990's.

    Try again.

if more guns and looser gun laws= less crime, this should be the case everywhere.

    clearly, its not.

simply blaming black people...doesn't cut it

Far more to it then that.. I live in a over the top gun state! I cant say I have met anyone here that doesn't own one firearm and most would easily be SEVERAL of them..

We have hosted the National High school rodeo finals here over 6 time, and thousands of people flood this town from just about every state and not a single gun or shooting incident.

    South Dakota, Sturgis rally.
Better the 500,000 people from all over the world flood in for the event, and I don't recall and shooting being recorded..

I think there is some anomaly most anti gun people are purposely ignoring in these debates ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

    No, they don't.

Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont have "very loose" gun laws.

And they have some of the lowest crime rates in the entire world.
