Troops have to train. Letting them train by patrolling the border is a good idea.
Using special operators instead of sending troops into Mexico is a good idea..

Nothing will eliminate the cartels so long as the demand exists.

The corrupt political class in Mexico and the US is too heavily invested in the drug/criminal justice/incarceration biz to ever tolerate real solutions.

Some of these so called professionals may be more interested in collaborating with the Mexican cartels than fighting them.

And how many US soldiers are of Hispanic heritage who may have problems fighting their own people?
Military intervention is not the answer, especially as the US military has such a poor track record is such matters.

Can't be letting our military engage in any activities that actually affect our security can we? Better to send them overseas to fight wars that serve no apparent purpose.

Fighting mass murdering drug overlords is not "fighting their own people".

They seem to think the military can fight well in Syria but not in Mexico. Don't know they rationalize that.

If there’s no money no cartel member is going to risk their life. Surely not all the little scrubs they have to pay either. It’s a simple equation. We start executing the leaders and exploding every source of drugs we see. We can easily blow them up faster than they can build them. At some point it’s not worth the investment any more. The head cartel members are rich beyond their means. They can take their cash and disappear and live the good life. Why the **** would they risk their lives? Greed only goes so far. Any time some newcomer attempts to be brave we execute him and everyone around him in his sleep. By then the Mexican govt could hopefully have it under control. But then again the culture down their is corrupt. You can’t fix them. It’s why no Latin American country can be successful.

Let’s start with the banks that launder the money. Let’s make them look like Bahgdadi’s house.

Come to think of it, let’s target the bank officers who partner with the cartels and destroy their homes too.

BY THE NATIONS! No where in any of your random quotes does it say Libya OR Syria (the two nations I mentioned) invited the United States.

You proved yourself wrong. Quit digging your hole deeper and deeper. Just move on. Everyone already saw your response by now.

Let me make this even easier for you (seems this is really difficult for you to grasp).

If Mexico tells Europe that the US should be invaded...

Do you find that as an acceptable invitation even without the US permission (US being the invaded nation)?

I don't know why I'm bothering to ask. You'll just deflect and cite more sources that prove yourself wrong. Nevermind bro. lol. Carry on

Quote me in where any one of those links Libya or Syria invited the United States into their nation to drone, invade of any kind...etc.

Because I gave you the run down of your links.

If you refuse to do the above asked...you're trolling.

100% relevant. Your quotes are of the Arab League asking another nation to invade a nation (libya) that has NOT asked for it.

So if this analogy is too difficult for you...I completely understand LOL! All I did was switch the names of the nations involved! LOL!

And yet Trump may do just that if he can get Congressional support instead of the mock impeachment campaign in the House. A completed wall would be a force multiplier on our border. Force the cartels to use submarines or risk air transport. If we just put a huge dent in their profits, maybe the Mexican government can grow a spine and help us. The wall helps with smuggling, immigration, and cartel movement.

I suspect that any weapons we send over there will be used against us when the cartels get hold of them. The mexican government doesn't have the will or integrity to fight the cartels. Their president is afraid of them.

Our best bet is to build the wall and isolate them. They will eat themselves until, in desperation, they ask for help.

Congress likes to urge presidents to go to war it is very shy about actually declaring war.

    Lies.

I said cite me sources that the Libya and Syria invited the US in. I didn't ask for a 3rd party. Why? Because my entire point was that WE WERE NOT INVITED BY THOSE NATIONS.

You made this crap up. You said those nations did invite us then cited sources that OTHER nations wanted us there.

Do you understand in that brain of yours how this is NOT what was asked of you?

I swear, the alt left radicals need to think before they post. You literally proved MY point with your own links!

The Arab league asked to help in Libya. It was you that went off into a tangent.

I see we are getting personal now.

If Trump backtracks on his agreement to take Millions of Cartel Money to keep the Drug Flow Unabated...

...Then, how can he keep Powdering His NOSE?

You are shifting. That is NOT what I asked. The statement I made was that neither Libya NOR Syria invited us into their nations. To which you replied that THEY did. You then proceeded to cite sources of OTHER countries that wanted to invade- yet NONE of your sources verify YOUR claims that Libya and Syria invited the United States into their nations.

Hence the analogy that you can't seem to understand.

That is why what you are saying now, is not true.
