You're claiming victimhood and asking for a social justice movement. That feels like feminization to me.
When affirmative action was first implemented, and it was determined race and gender was more important than being qualified to fill a particular position.
If discussions were exclusively related to the present day you might have a point but across the full breadth of history, women’s rights is a unique and wide scale topic in a way than men’s rights have not been. There’s still nothing stopping you posting about men’s rights in the general civil rights area (or even the women’s rights area if you must) so even if it is an issue, it’s hardly a huge one.
I know it's not a huge issue and it hardly effects me. It's just interesting to discuss why there isn't. The women's rights forums being completly clogged up with mens issues (which it is) is hardly helpful for the people who come here for actual women rights content. The women's rights threads and posters have nearly all been pushed out, it's not a women's rights section anymore it's the unofficially mens section.
George Washington and Thomas Jefferson did have enormous character flaws. But claiming victimhood and asking for a social justice movement was a great virtue. US Capital is Washington, DC. These men are on American currency.
Any advocacy for male victims of abuse and discrimination gets silenced offline. Anyone who advocates for male victims is likely to be fired and blacklisted.
It is dangerous to advocate for Equality for men offline. But any man can reach a good audience online. It is every man's legal right and Ethical Duty to take a stand against Discrimination.
As much as you may think this site is a sexist hate site, it used to be much worse. A feminist on this site told me she would force me to be prone on the ground with her high heel on my throat- laughing as she choked me to death. And nothing, I just told them I build sites and it’s against the terms of service, of my sites hosting company, internet service provider, and the program my sites run on to promote violence-any one of which who could shut my sites down. And she actually had a modicum of accountability. (Sometimes the most boring reading…like reading the TOS, can be some of your most valuable reading) ...and PS I would not be surprised if this post is deleted and I am banned...Liberals use political correctness as de facto censorship to silence any and all debate that does not fit the liberal narrative, regardless of its truthfulness ...And essentially saying women are just as capable as men and should be held just as accountable to the rules as men is not politically correct.
This site is as Egalitarian as it can be. On Twitter, people get banned for objecting to #killallmen. On Twitter posts saying #menaretrash get hundreds of thousands of likes. On SDMB I was warned not to post anything dealing with gender or politics. But their computer experts are the best!
