As well they should. What kind of lawyer brags about getting security clearances for people who can easily be blackmailed? Didn't the left complain about the possibility of the Russians having something on Trump they could use to blackmail him?
I know nothing about this guy, but if the stuff posted here is any indication then he's not a very good person. That being said, if we're to believe that the actions of one's lawyers are an indication of the character of the person being represented then President Trump has some very big issues.
