It was funny on FB. Guess it didn't translate.

 

Decided not to put the angelfish in the Windows. Just couldn't get it to look right so I pieced together this window. It is sitting on the freezer with a piece of clear glass on top. It will be a three pain window.... as said before... clear glass, stained glass, and clear glass. Need to add patina and install. Here it is in sunlight. My soldering needs work. The stuff I chose was too big around to melt just right but all in all I am happy with it.

Gorgeous! Where did you learn to make stained glass?

 

YouTube.. But my last job was running a cnc machine and a shear, among other things. In working the shear everything had to be cut square and measured accurately. A window has to be square and cut right.I had a lot of glass from tearing down that old house and used some of it to make practice cuts. Now I can pretty much make straight cuts. My next glass project will have curves. Anyway I saw the Show Salvage Dogs and fell in love with stained glass . Looking at it makes me feel better... It sparks pretty colors in my brain cells.

 

A gf just said today that she wanted to find some stained glass pieces and I thought 'why not make it yourself like pc?' Lol, it's much more complicated than you make it look. Can't wait to see what you do with the angelfish!

I remember me some time ago { early 80's } going off on a bender with a
buddy and ending up at some bar in the outskirts of Appalachia.
The chippies { chicks } were hot.Too hot.But I remember this one chippie
showing off her new engagement ring.To anyone and everyone in earshot.
I remember a fellar { Mountain man of sorts } insisting ... Looks a lot like
the Engagement ring my old man gave me mother.Turned out to be
Stained glass passing off as a diamond.I remember saying something like
... Tammy Tell me True.The chippie's name was Tammy.

 

Not ever to be confused with a Kamoto Dragon.Even in a nightmare.
I had me a nightmare about this Thread onced.It went away like a
worn out face pimple ... it did.
Like a Kamoto Dragon's need for attention while devouring eats.
Or a Tasmanian Devil.
This place is worse than either when it comes to " Likes "
I wonder what P.T. Barnum would make of it.

It’s warmer in north Idaho, 100 miles from Canada. Looks like most of the nation east of the Rockies is in for some record cold. Put antifreeze in your radiator, whiskey in your coffee and you be aight.

 

That usually means they post well thought out posts. I haven't read much of Crownline's posts, but he has always posted decently in here.
