Everyone has one right in life, to be responsible. To be responsible for yourself and to be responsible within society. When you're spoonfed rights on free speech, guns etc.. you become an obsessive culture that isn't responsible. That's why Americans come across as cranky to other nations.
Other nations come off as lazy and depend on the United States. If it were up to me, I'd slash LOTS of spending that we do on Europeans. Especially Germany. They have no idea how fast they'll collapse without our billions, our military assets, and of course, our treaties.

Maybe in some instances. However keep in mind, we've tried several times to scale back in places like Germany, South Korea, Italy, and Japan. In some cases (South Korea and Japan) they told us they didn't need much of our presence anymore. Then they remembered how much money they make off our bases and personnel that they were like " Ooops- JK! We want you here!". Our bases and personnel are CASH COWS for Europe. If we left many of our bases there, the European economy would have a downward spiral just from that. And then Russia will lick their chops and think "Hmmm- HERE WE GO!".
I would make it European law that it's illegal to accept America's help with anything and having any military bases in Europe. I would suggest America reduces their national debt with the saving.
I too would suggest we pull our resources (mostly) our of Europe. Countries like Estonia and Poland who truly appreciate our training, would love to keep us. England, Germany, and other ungrateful nations would be subject to Russian torment if we left. Russia would start seizing your vessels and doing random things to start a war with you guys. And we (Americans) could sit back and laugh and say "Hah- good luck with that one!".
Obviously its not that as much where the American soldiers are as what they believe their goal is. Just like the British occupying American colonists. What a forgetful period of history.

It's not the marriage that's deemed legitimate. The kids (issue) are deemed legitimate (not bastards) before the marriage is annulled. This might have some impact on inheritance.
