A couple of points. Your source essentially just copied information from a primary source, wrapped its own spin around it and put it behind a pay wall. I’m not sure supporting that kind of behaviour by linking them is a good idea, especially when you could have just linked the primary source. That said, the primary source is the Christian Post, and so hardly neutral on the topic. It is also exclusively based on the allegations in an apparently as yet unresolved court case and an interview with the parents (with some suggestion of leading questions – “Asked to comment on how the sowing of confusion about sex and gender into the minds of young girls impacts women's rights as a whole, she said…”). There doesn’t even seem to have been an attempt to give the school a right-of-reply (not that they’re legally allowed to say much in such cases, which is always convenient for the spin). There are some definitive statements about what happened in the class but presumably that is all coming via the recollection of a six-year old. There could well have been plenty wrong with that class but nothing is definitive here and this kind of case is almost always much more complex and nuanced than is initially made out by one side. It’d be more informative to get reporting on the proceedings and outcome of the actual case but I very much doubt that will happen unless the result can be spun as a complete vindication for the parents. But sure, by all means hate Canada a little more just because you read this if that’s how you want to live your life.
Ok now we have the story. So this sorry excuse of a "teacher " is saying that neither girls nor boys are real genders. That is intellectually wrong since humans have defined ourselves in two distinct genders. male and female. That distinction is based on biology which is defined by the functional differences of each gender. This so called teacher is twisting, contorting, and abusing the minds of those young children. Of course this "teacher" is pushing her or his own beliefs about gender upon those innocent children. Since thatv"teacher" is pushing his/her ow beliefs it is very very very much the same as if that "teacher" was pushing her/ his own religion onto the child. That is unconstitutional even in Canada I would hope. The sorry excuse of a teacher needs to be fired and some law found to legally punish the "teacher".

There is no spectrum. You're male or female, though dysphoria can occur. It's abusive to normalize mental illness in the classroom, especially at an age where sexuality and gender shouldn't matter at all.

most of us refer to it as gender (based on genitalia one is born with), which can be one or the other or both but I will agree there are differing degrees of femininity and masculinity maybe even feminine souls in a male body, ect..... for medical purposes we need to keep a distinction as there is medical differences
The massive government school education model is a fully exposed dangerous boondoggle. All of the revenue flowing into the monstrosity should be diverted directly to the control of the parents and guardians of school children and then to liberated teacher owned and operated schools.
