Rich democrats are just like conservatives when it comes to getting taxed. Many very wealthy democrats are coming out against Warren.

At a conference sponsored by the New York Times, Microsoft co-founder and business magnate Bill Gates contradicted Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-Mass.) proposed wealth tax and said that if you “tax too much,” there is a risk of curtailing innovation. He also spoke about the importance of philanthropy, explaining that it “does what the government can't do.”

I agree. Taxes can’t solve all the problems.

People tend to vote with their take-home pay in mind. The economy is good, and Warren is proposing massive taxes which will absolutely effect the middle-class. Good luck with that Warren/Dems. People will talk about how much they hate Trump, but when they are in that booth, they are going to vote for whoever will cost them less in their paychecks. And that is certainly not Warren.

He can say that till he's blue in the face as the INCOME GAP between the have and have not's increases at it's fastest ever pace.SOMETHING needs to be done to address it because the most recent tax cuts for the wealthy just made it a lot worse.

I'm not surprised that you're only telling half the story. The other half was he wouldn't mind if he had to pay twice what he does. He then went on with "if you tax too much there's a risk - - - - "

So how do you explain California? Trumps tax plan actually raised taxes on the wealthy here. Dems enjoy a super majority, taxes are among the highest while we are still the poverty capitol of the US. The gap between the rich and poor here is huge. Our middle class is tiny.

If high taxes created a thriving society with great schools, safe roads, and no/low homelessness/poverty, I would be a democrat!

This is marxist dogma we keep hearing from democrat candidates.

If these dems cared about closing the wealth gap-they would advocate for policies that increase wealth.

In fact they do the exact opposite.

Warren is also getting criticized by corporate dems like Hillary and Bloomberg.

    Let’s see.....

Medicare for all - 52 trillion
Forgive all student loans - 196 billion
Just covering illegals for Medicare - 220 billion
Free tuition to public colleges - 79 billion
She also wants illegals eligible for welfare.

She says no middle class tax increase
I believe she speaks with fork tongue.

Honestly I think Warren is just proposing these ridiculous things to try and get the far left vote. What she starts campaigning she will have to abandon it like a pregnant girl on prom night.

You going to run against someone who has lowered taxes an increased prosperity on the platform of decreasing prosperity and raising taxes. Meaning that's like a pugilist boxing a buttered roll.

The masses will be screaming take my money please I have too much of it. Please give it to people that don't even belong in this country that's what we want.

Lol what she is a neo liberal corporatist in the second she gets elected assuming she does she's going to revert right back to that.
