Sorry but impeachment is in the Constitution. Try reading it.

You did make the inference but - what ever... you seem overly focused on Trump's violations of the Rule of Law but to care little about the general problems with respect to such violations in our Justice system.

Try to restore the rule of law. That's quite feat given that Republicans control the Senate, the Presidency, the Supreme Court.... And the Democrats have had control of the House for less than a year.

It will help Biden by testifying in front of the Senate too.

It’s all about revenge for the worst and most unexpected smack down in political history. Someone with no political experience who invested little, soundly beat the most entrenched and well connected politician in modern times.

It was so shattering to so many egos they never recovered. The rage and anger will NEVER be quelled until he’s out of office. Certain people are deranged. TDS is not made up. It’s a literal sickness. If companies like Google had to offer people tome to see medical professionals to overcome their grief, it proves there are a a lot of mentally unstable people out there.

No. You made the inference. I see it every day on the right. It's called a "strawman"

The Judicial system???? Wow! You get one strawman struck down only to instantly fabricate another one. Not too good at focusing on a discussion, are you?

I "seem" overly focused on Trump because this thread is about Trump.

I would tell you that if you wanted to start a discussion about the judicial system to start a new thread. But you and I know how that would go... You would soon run out of arguments so you would accuse me of being "too focused on the judicial system" but care very little about... Healthcare... or guns... or... anything to change the subject... again.

Poster: Let's just presume that Trump is removed from office. What does the left gain?

You: The rule of law is restored.

This infers that by Trump leaving office - the Rule of Law will be restored. I commented that the Rule of law within our Judicial System has been degraded long before Trump stepped into office ... and you went into a tizzy.

I was your inference - and now you are trying to backtrack and claim that I built some strawman - when it is you building them. Projection is not your friend.

The rest of your demonization rant - based on your fallacious premise - is quite something to behold :)

Claiming the judicial system is flawed is not a Strawman !? all this time on this site and you don't know what a strawman is ? I did not put words in your mouth.. simply claimed our Justice system is flawed.

Is this some big newsflash to you ? Can you not name one Rule of Law violation - outside of Trump -

Then you blame me for talking about the Rule of Law -when it was you that made the Rule of law comment .. and proceed to build another strawman - based on your previous 2.

3 Strawman Fallacies in one post - you are skilled. Hopefully after your lesson today - you will understand what a strawman fallacy is :)

Yes! Let's ruin the country! Let's align with Putin to attack our electoral system, and then extort Ukraine and get them to do the same. In fact, let's align with all the dictators and throw our European allies and NATO under the bus!!!

That should ruin the country! We dems are mean!!!

Exactly. Keeping a criminal in the Presidency does not quite make us complaint with the rule of law, does it?

Actually, what you said was (copy-paste quote) "...the Rule of Law will again be respected once Trump is gone" which you maliciously ascribed to me.

You also said what you quote here, but it was followed by "..and it will continue to do so long after."

So your argument ends up being that Trump should not be held accountable for his crimes because there are unnamed others who have committed crimes, and unborn others who will commit them in the future.

Absolutely ridiculous argument. It's like saying that a murderer should not be prosecuted because there have always been murderers and there will be murderers in the future.

Yes it is. It's an attempt to change the subject to one in which you think you have a better chance of making a point than the one being discussed.. That's called a "strawman".

Your statements denote either a poor or very creative memory.... not sure which. You actually criticized me for talking too much about the topic of this thread, and not about this topic that you want to talk about.

And you now insist on changing the subject even now. Open a thread!

You don't talk about "the Rule of Law". You wanted to talk about the Judicial System.

    Ahhh! Someone finally “gets it”!

This isn’t about removing someone from office this is about holding those in office accountable

Every politician should be held to a standard. Otherwise graft becomes destructive

That was not my argument at all .. Strawman 4. followed by you calling the argument I never made .. "ridiculous"

    .

Now comes to the "Priceless part"

I say: Claiming the judicial system is flawed is not a Strawman !?

You say: Yes it is. It's an attempt to change the subject to one in which you think you have a better chance of making a point than the one being discussed.. That's called a "strawman".

Holy Carp - an attempt to change the subject is not a "Strawman"

Please spare us your continued misuse of the term Strawman - google is your friend- and once you know what a Strawman argument is - perhaps you will not commit this fallacy so often.
    .

You don't talk about "the Rule of Law". You wanted to talk about the Judicial System

We gave up on standards long ago..

Politicians are a reflection of the American people. Want them to hold a higher standard the American people need to hold themselves to a higher standard

by exercising a coup... by blocking the building of a wall to stop the illegal flow of migrants. The Democrats are aiding the breaking of the law.. in fact it is my opinion many are very close if not already overstepping into traitor territory

Fighting the coup attempts of the Democrats... the Democrats have no concept of Democracy, they are doing their best to incapacitate the lawful governing of the United states

First of all any real Democrats left in the party are not OK with any of this but go along to get along because they realize how screwed they really all are. The impeachment is based on what, can anybody tell us? Every day Schiff changes the narrative and the rules. Seems like a bunch of theatre and little else.Schiff reminds me of a green West Pointer who has never seen combat and loses his **** when bullets start to fly. Shiffs' eyeballs are going to pop completely out of his head because of what nobody's talking about, that is, that the DOJ is sitting on a MOAB that will destroy the Democrat party. In the mean time Schiff is singing 99 bottles of beer on the wall with the impeachment bullshit hoping to stall the inevitable.

Ah yes. I see the alt left radicals (on Veterans day- almost) are making fun of a terrorist attack that was blamed on a Youtube movie.

    Makes sense.

I keep moving the goalposts? What are you referring to?

Democrats have sent over 200 unrelated bills to the senate floor where mitch will not even allow a vote.
Odd that you blame one party when they only control one chamber of government.
