Yeah... The way the forum raises the alerts confused me there a bit. But your own OP still proves me right.

Wrong. Here is the end game: DC is loaded with elected and unelected elitists. They run the show. They know better than all of us and therefore we; the smelly Wal-mart people, don't matter. That was until Trump got elected. This beltway outsider won! The elite can't have that! The end game is to remove him from office so as to let any other "outsider" get the message that this is what happens to you if you ever try this again. The voters be damned.

Believe what you want, this is the end game! YOU bought into it.

Kind of .. but not really .. I say you seem overly focused on Trump's violations of the Rule of Law but to care little about the general problems with respect to such violations in our Justice system.

Whats the big deal -and is the above not true ? notice I say "you seem" which leave room for .. "perhaps its something else" .. and nor do I go on some big attack in the basis of the mild accusation. (which is required for the fallacy to be complete). If I don't light the strawman on fire .. like you did what 5 times ? .. Direct Strawman ... full on defacto accusation - of complete BS - followed by a raging fire.

Spare me. Go now and try get a better grip on what a strawman fallacy is.

and you are full of it saying THIS is what you were referring to - in that while this is true - you also did the big Rule of Law fallacy .. and a bunch of other strawmen .. as detailed and numbered in my previous posts.

so out of 5 or 6 strikes .. at understanding the definition of Strawman -- .. you got a bunt - which is the above.

If Biden did what he claimed he did, Trump was going after corruption. That's why it needs to be investigated.

They don' t have any reliable candidates that are likely to win a primary that is always overloadeded with far left ideologues. Biden's running a distant forth in Iowa not much better in New Hampshire.

In truth, you don't have a reliable candidate. Unless by reliable you mean reliably ignorant, inept, and corrupt.

He's not going to be removed. He's done absolutely nothing wrong but win an election. If Dems mustered a candidate, they'd probably drop the whole the whole thing. At this point, their only chance to beat him in 2020 is impeachment.

What this is about is the establishment democrats using the corruption in Ukraine to funnel aid dollars into their private family coffers.

The bidens are at the center of it, and so they need to frame any investigation into them as political rather than criminal in order to keep their web from unraveling and it all being exposed.

why do Republicans always assume an Impeachment is politically motivated?

I guess they are just projecting from experience (Clinton).

If I ever incur in logical fallacy (in a serious discussion, of course.... not obvious tongue-in-cheek) point it out the second you see it. This "you did it, but I can't quote it" will not do.

The rest of your post has no content or relevance in this thread. Or course I focus on Trump's crime in a discussion about Trump's crimes! What did you expect?

If Trump were really going after corruption he would have put himself in jail a long time ago.

Another meaningless Republican talking point. Impeachment is in the cConstitution and Trump trying to get a foreign country to interfere in our elections is a “ high crime and misdemeanor”

oh, and just for your education part of that lawful governing of the United States involves Congress and the Supreme Court. Bet you didn’t know that.

What does that have to do with trump soliciting dirt on a political opponent in exchange for military aid?

if that's the case, then why release the Ukrainian aid?

why not stick to his guns in the great fight against corruption?

    hmmmm?

The end game is that these crybabies will feel like they won something.
It doesn't even make sense from a leftist stance
"Let's get rid of the most liberal republican president there ever was (trump) and get stuck with the most conservative person on earth (pence).

Soooo smart! I can't wait watch this shyt show hearing when I get home

Look at it from their point of view. At least in the meantime, it's better than getting a job.

If Biden didn't say what he did.......

I might tend to agree with you. However, if he actually did it would constitute abuse of office. It would be incumbent on Trump to follow up and request the Ukraine cooperate with the U.S. AG to get at the truth. Whether Biden is a candidate is irrelevant and doesn't give him a get out of jail free.

And I welcome a secondary investigation.
This investigation is about trump bribing another country to dig up dirt on a political opponent.
Republicans are making themselves look fairly bad by trying to bring in irrelevant opinions.

Can you imagine a murder trial where the defense keeps bringing up another murder?
