The hearing really made democrats look bad. To the point where I don't even know if I can enjoy ripping on it because I felt so bad for them. I wanted to see them give the republicans a good fight. It was so bad, it almost seemed like they were boxers that were paid to throw the match. Some things that stood out were:

"wasn't ON THE CALL"

"sometimes HERESAY is better than real evidence"

I now know the truth. Schiff works for Trump. I'm sorry you guys have been duped but there is no other explanation. This was a million times worse than Kavannaugh hearings.

But I have great news for all you Trump haters. This is the smoking gun! Don't you see, sending in a collaborator into congress is pretty impeachable. I wonder when Trump turned him. Probably on some yacht trip that involved many porn stars. I am seriously impressed. This is even above Ocean's 11 style heist.

 

I think that you are wrong. A great deal the Republîcan's denial of Trump's criminality has little to do with Trump. It is just their nature. Trump was supposedly a Democrat until Obama got elected. He had to run as a Republîcan because Democratic voters would never support anyone like Trump. Democrats ran Al Franken out of office for doing a whole lot less than Trump has been accused of.

My favorite part was when the witnesses shredded the batshyte crazy conspiracy theories that got the Orange Extortionist in to this mess in the first place. In response to questioning, the witnesses explained there is no factual basis for the belief Ukraine meddled in our election or that Old Joe did anything inappropriate when he pursued the policy of the US, consistent with that of EU countries and the IMF, in seeking the removal of Shokin..........someone who was blocking the establishment of an anti-corruption apparatus in Ukraine.

 

Nunez is a real assclown. He came off like an opening monologue of the Hannity show except that his delivery was horrible. It’s as if Sean’s copy writer prepared his idiotic rant. Jordan was his usual bully blowhard self too. The witnesses that Schiff called were excellent.

 

My favorite was that Trump was so consistently incompetent in the execution of virtually everything he does, including this plot , its not worth taking him seriously enough to impeach him.

When your best defense of our chief of state is that he not competent enough to stand trial in the Senate, things are not looking promising for 2020 re-election chances.

A bumper sticker I saw asked if the Senate was going to try him as an adult or a juvenile. I think there is only one option on the table now.

 

The witnesses Schiff called just proved that they are dishonest people and not credible. The collusion between the DNC and Ukraine in 2016 has been proved. Ukraine officials and democrats colluded in order to influence the U.S presidential election in 2016. Deny it all you want. It's a irrefutable fact.

Besides blocking witness testimony there is another way the Obstructionist-in-Chief is impeding the impeachment inquiry. He is preventing the State Dept. from releasing notes taken by people like Kent and Taylor. Notes that would substantiate their testimony because they were written at the time events took place. Notes that were written well before anyone had any idea Don's extortion scheme would result in an impeachment hearing.
So..........the act of blocking these documents from being released will no doubt be included to the article of impeachment having to do with obstruction of the investigation.

 

And...still just 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hand hearsay.

If it's all a witch hunt you'd think Don would be dying to have every possible witness testify so we could hear his side of the story. But there is no his side of the story because he did what he is suspected of doing.

 

That is the problem with the impeachment. He may have done what he is suspected of doing. However, the democrats are determined to remove an elected president because they hate him based on evidence and procedures which would never be allowed in a criminal court.

 

That is because this isn't a criminal court. The House is not running any courtroom at all. It is gathering evidence for an indictment and prosecution.. The Senate is not considering putting the guy in jail, executing him or fining him. They are considering taking away his title, his salary and access to the White House Chef and Airforce 1.

You want him provided more due process, at the earliest stages than you would provide a man who might end up on Death Row.

 

Schiff for brains will still look like a juvenile.

When the President keeps finding ways to undermine 'the will of the people' using either extortion or bribery of foreign governments by using congressionally allocated funds, to coerce them into his own becoming his personal private investigators digging up his dirt, we need to stop him.

There is no 'will of the people' expressed , when he compromises the 2020 election we use to measure that will.

That is correct. It is not a court room. However, it is more important than most court rooms and yet it is being run like a third world country. There is no excuse for the lack of fairness except that democrats want him gone. Either the supreme court or the senate will insure that he is not removed.

Stop whining or demand that every police dept or the FBI and DA's office show 'fairness' in the way they investigate crime, prepare legal strategy and formulate their indictments. People are losing their liberty for decades and others are losing their lives because of the innate unfairness of interviewing witnesses in secret, and building a case outside of the sunshine of public testimony and observation.

This is no different than how any other investigation into presidential matters was conducted by Leon Jeworsky, Archibald Cox, Ken Starr, or Robert Mueller was performing this exact same function that this House was only
