This barb was made in direct response to Jim Jordan's lengthy diatribe about not hearing from the Whistleblower. You can watch the exchange here:

But of course, we all know that Trump is too much of a chicken **** to ever testify under oath. Hillary Clinton managed to do it for 11 hours. Worried about falling into a perjury trap? Here's a pro-tip: Tell the ****ing truth when you are under oath.

And I found this summary of Jim Jordan's arguments and I thought folks might enjoy reading it here:

No White House adviser, employee, or friend would ever allow Trump to testify in person. Ever. Trump's inability to be truthful about anything and his propensity for making **** up as he goes along would be a disaster for him.

All in my wise and generally correct opinion of course.

It's called Executive Privilege. Clinton invoked it 14 times. The only thing Trump should give this show trial not acting in good faith about an event that wasn't even a crime, is his middle finger.

Ask Nixon about the limits of executive privilege.

And Trump is not claiming executive privilege, he is claiming absolute immunity.

    1. It's not a trial; it's akin to the indictment phase of a criminal case. The "trial" will take place before the Senate.
    2. Bonespurs is moronically claiming absolute immunity and that the process (passed by the GOP) is "unconstitutional", which is absurd.

C'mon. He could not do anything as physical and athletic as raising his middle finger.

So Schiff's farce falls apart on him on the very first day and the left considers it some sort of victory when Jordan is trolled. I guess if that's all you have, then that's all you have.

We all know this was started by Schiff for brains and the 'whistleblower' that heard it from a guy who heard if from a guy.

There is no reason why Trump should not be testifying under oath.

Yes, because repeating Jim "I Allowed Wrestlers to be Molested" Jordan's stupid talking point is a strong argument.

It's plain that Bonespurs was abusing his office for personal gain. Just because he's inept and it didn't work doesn't mean he's fake "exonerated" again.

Ah, the libs are trying to Kavanaugh Jordan and you fell for it. Repeating the dem clown show narrative without any facts is just not bright.

That doesn't make any sense at all. Please reconsider this post and make sense next time.

    It doesn't.

It's like arguing that someone isn't wounded because of "hearsay" when the person at issue is standing in front of you bleeding.

And it ignores Sondland's corrected testimony.

Bonespurs could clear the whole thing up by testifying (i.e. lying) before the House.

There are plenty of reasons why he shouldn’t according to the right, he is corrupt and a liar — they know this and accept this even if they scream it isn’t true.

If trump testifies he will absolutely commit at minimum 100 counts of perjury.

Which will then be discounted as completely legal by the right.

This is what happens when hooking an entire political ideology on the backs of a single con artist.

He hates corruption so much that he can't even say the word! That's how anti-corruption Bonespurs is!

Actually, I doubt you'd get him to commit 1 count of perjury.... he wouldn't remotely answer a single question put to him with anything that could be construed as an answer....

He'd pick one thing that sounds good to him "I.E. Perfect phone call" and repeat it endlessly to every question asked.

I believe no prosecutor could put him under oath for any reason because to do so is knowingly invite perjury.

    Thus it will never happen...

On Topic, I though Welch could have paused a little longer for dramatic effect, but well done for a comedy novice...

Jordan attempted to blame the whistleblower for the evil Trump committed by which that he wanted the guy who started "all of this".

Welch stuffed into his face ( figuratively speaking) when he said fine I will be glad to have Trump come here and testify.
