That is what Kanye meant at all. What he said is vote how you want and don't believe you Have to vote Democrat. IMO Democrats take the African American/ Black vote for granted. That is why Kanye is telling other minorities to look at which Party is supporting them. Did Obama or Trump help move them forward more?

With regards to blacks, the Democrats have been very successful convincing them that the Republicans are racist boogeyman who will take away their government goodies. The Democrats tell blacks they are victims and treat them like they are "less than" and scare them that they won't be able to survive if they leave the Democrats' plantation. The Republicans don't treat blacks as victims or "less than" and they offer them opportunities to succeed so they won't need to rely on the government or be beholden to Democrats, but that first step to self reliance and independence can be a big one, especially with the Democrats' message reverberating in the back of your mind "you can't make it on your own, you need us".

What have Democrats done for the black community? Disproportional generational poverty and dependence, slums, fatherless children, and a standard of living for too many of them which most of us couldn't tolerate for a month. In contrast, the black community has thrived the most under Trump. That's something any smart black voter should be thinking about.

That is how it should be ---- black voters should feel free to vote their own minds, and they shouldn't fear retribution, attacks, accusations that they're abandoning their people, or derogatory nicknames like "Uncle Tom".

I've said it before and I'll say it again ---- I'm not a Kanye fan per se ---- but what Kanye is doing (trying to do) among the black community is a GOOD THING.

Seeing more blacks come out in support of Trump and/or Republicans is encouraging, and it helps break the chains of group-think. Black role models like Ben Carson ----rather than some thug gang rapper or some bitter half baked athlete---- can only help. Shining a light on the race-baiters and identity-politickers and their manipulative self-serving tactics ----so people can see them for the cockroaches they are---- can only help. Anyone/everyone showing that there is a different/better way can only help.

Black voters have been voting Democrat........forever? And what have Democrats really done for them? In contrast, the black community has thrived the most under Trump. That's something any smart black voter should be thinking about.

It is offensive and sad to see how the left, and some posters here, view black voters like they are too stupid and too brainwashed and too dependent to think or vote independently, and too hopeless and helpless to see when there is a better path offered to them. That may be true of some of them ----and no doubt some poor whites too---- but I don't believe for one second that it is true of all blacks in general, or that it can't change.

I am close enough to two of my black friends to speak freely about politics. They both support Trump. They're both successful and neither fits the left's stereotype of blacks. I can imagine them both fuming at a thread like this.

Ridiculous, right? On this very thread we see examples of leftwing posters using "Uncle Kanye" and "Uncle Tom". There's probably a reference to boot licking and head nodding too if I wanted to go back and look.

Every black person who has an epiphany of independence listening to Kanye is a threat to the Democrats' stranglehold on the black vote, and every black person who is doing better economically under Trump is a threat to the Democrats' stranglehold on the black vote. This seems to terrify some forum members. It probably worries some Dem politicians too

 

I always find it amusing that tiny little Israel is the “bully” surrounded by 10s of millions who want them all dead. Or they are led by those who want them destroyed, since certain groups who elect Terrorists as their leaders are apparently innocent. Truly remarkable.

Israel hasn’t attacked anyone in their existence. They’ve been defending themselves since they fought off the hordes and won way back when.

Regarding 10s of millions, add up most Palestinians and considering the general attitude of ME Muslims towards Israel yes they have a lot of people who want them dead. And like you said, they have us behind them. Care to guess what would happen if we didn’t help them out? The same thing that happens if you cross the wrong side of the street or pray in the wrong place. There are signs warning people what they shouldn’t do.

Calling a black person "uncle" is a racial slur worse then ni##er. Just letting you know.
It communicates your view that as a race, black people can only think one thought, one ideology and one life experience. By using that term, Only whites, asians, indians and Hispanics are worthy of your equal respect. Perhaps with them you are willing to discuss the issues without racial slurs. Blacks are just uncles if they disagree.

 

They don't care. They're just pretending to care about black voters as long as they toe the line and keep voting Democrat, but the minute they stop the left's true colors shine through and their racism and condescension towards blacks is on full display again.
