There is no way our country wants the Dems to take over the Senate. As to the childish name calling, I guess it reflects the nature of the reply.

There is a general difference in a good top rated Justice vs what the Democrats toss at us like a wet sock. Democrats make poor justices.

It is my understanding that though you said THE ABA, what actually happens is a few members are in a small body who recommend. Said small body appears to be composed of Democrats is how I see it.

But it is not the whole of the ABA recommending, just a few members.

Actually think this over. How can one be a judge and not be actually legally qualified? Politically qualified is what you really mean. So as long as a ABA member is a Democrat, it is a foregone conclusion as to how to vote.

When I voted to convict or declare innocence of members of the real estate board brought up on charges by either a member of the public or other realtors, it never occured to me to seek knowledge of their politics. It did annoy some of my fellow committee members how I operated but conducted my part of the hearing in a way to allow all defendants to fully handle their own cases. Course they could have hired a lawyer to help them. This is one of my strong points on this forum, a knowledge of law as well as actual experience at being part of legal proceedings vs members of the real estate board.

Of course you do. Because your adoration of Dear Leader can't allow you to admit some of the judges Don has nominated are in fact unqualified. A few so much so they were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Have you done any research on the nominees rated unqualified? I'll bet not.

You don't know much at all about me Lee.

Frankly I know that the Judges that Trump offers up tend to be extremely well educated lawyers and jurists so I trust those appointments.

Just as I do not see the Democrats on the SC as unqualified, they simply are biased politically. When a decision is rendered on non political issues, they seem to do fine in most cases.

My hope here is to see this forum starting to act like one would composed of smart, informed and polite people. For instance, the above is telling poster A what to do. Wrong approach and saying bad names about us and alleging we do not care is totally wrong.

That is true but that is the spoils of war. Sad that our country instead of getting a real conservative instead got a rapist who believes that the POTUS should have the powers of a monarch, a czar in the case of Trump.

No not accurate. What the Democratic forces did was to lower the threshold to vote in a SUPEME. But yes that did bite them in the arse.

And the democrats didn't? Trump is just reversing 50 years of legislating from the bench, something that is long overdue. It'll probably be more evenhanded than a Dem majority judiciary although I hope it's not and is an iron fisted and no BS conservative majority.

What are you alleging is not accurate? I have not put thought as to them lowering the threshold and invite you to make that case.

Actually your best option is not to say such things, merely lay out point 1, prove it, point 2 prove it, etc.

I voted for presidents who used their office for a sexual magnet. I voted for John Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson, both well known for using their power as president to obtain sex.

Bork received a hearing on his nomination. Garland received no hearing, in violation of the Senate's obligation to provide advice and consent.

If you wish for more facts, advise Fake Don to refrain from his hysterical, slimy tweets and stop gagging witnesses that are in a position to provide more of them.

If you need to fantasize that Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush, and Bushie that were making judicial appointments for most of that time are having their legacy negated by Fake Don, that is what you'll tell yourself.

Certainly. Are you including the Biden's as some of the witnesses who are in a position to provide more information?
