The entire proceedings with her was staged by the Democrats to gain sympathy. And the woman with a steel spine played along with it expressing her feelings of devastation at every opportunity instead of acting professionally. That is sexism in total with the victim playing the role.

If that tape were enough, then why do Biden's poll numbers continue to show him beating Trump next year by an average of 9 points? If Trump weren't desperate to ruin him before the election, he wouldn't have mentioned investigating him and Burisma several times in that one call.

As a woman and a benchmark feminist from the 60s, I heard nothing sexist or condescending from the questions, merely concern for a career diplomat under fire. The point was to illustrate clearly to the watching public the threatening nature of Trump's remarks about the ambassador, and they accomplished that with a huge helping hand from Trump himself when he tweeted more attacks as she was testifying. She could have been a he, the point was the intimidation from the president.

This isn't about a crime, a violation of a federal code. I'm sorry, I thought we all knew that. This is about a president who obviously cares more about getting reelected than about our national security. Holding up that aide was dangerous and unneccessary, and likely caused the deaths of Ukrainians trying to hold back the Russian army.

He abused the power of our Oval Office for personal gain. It is the job of the DOD to insure that a country receiving military assistance is worthy and that the aid is not a danger to national security, and the DOD, along with a bipartisan majority in congress, had already approved the aid for Ukraine. That makes Trump's claim that he was only interested in Ukraine investigating corruption in their ranks the pure bee ess that it clearly is.

The Constitution includes the political process of impeachment for exactly this sort of thing. This is a textbook case, ask any Constitutional scholar.

 

He does the same to men as well. His harsh criticism is gender neutral.

Progressives have to act woke. Yovanovich is not only a woman in a powerful position, but she is also gay. That's why they defended her and berated Trump over a human resources issue. In fact, she is doing better now than she was before being fired. Her feelings weren't even hurt. She's glad she is at Georgetown. There is no real issue.

 

It's been a progressive movement of aid to Ukraine, gradually stepping up each year as they successfully dealt with cleaing house. Congress decides how much aid, and the nature of that aid. The president can do no more than suggest, or veto aid bills. Obama was not the one denying Javelins, no more than Trump is responsible for Ukraine receiving that specific type of lethal aide sonce taking office. To simplify: it ain't up to him.

Do you know the history of our involvement with Ukraine? Do you understand their strategic importance? When previous congresses approved specific aid packages, what we gave was dependent upon many factors, like getting the fingers of local oligarchs out of the public pie, a very complex and difficult task.

Go and read up on why we became involved with Ukraine in the first place, familiarize yourself with what Ukraine has sacrificed in order to democratize their country and join the civilized west in Europe. Really, everyone trying to debate this issue should pipe down and do their homework first.

You seem like a reasonably intelligent guy. Get back to me when you've done your homework and can respond with something besides sarcasm and right wing talking points.
