Where is your outrage at CNN for it’s obvious bias?

 

The problem isn't bias. I have no problem with the editorial bias of stations like CNN, MSNBC, and Faux. But there is no station comparable to what Faux does to misinform their audience as illustrated by the examples I gave in the OP.
Moreover, there are hundreds of examples of the Faux effect on the board from Trump backers refusing to accept unequivocal facts. Like impeachment not being a coup. Or allowing a flame thrower like Digenova to make baseless allegations without being confronted for it. Or having Trump's batshyte crazy comment “TRUMP HAS REPEATEDLY IMPLIED THAT SCHIFF HAS COMMITTED TREASON” on the screen along with Schiff. Why would Faux make the conscious decision to give the false claim Schiff committed treason any credence?
The point of the post is to identify why informed debate with Trumpete's is all but impossible. It's not bias, it's a lack of ability to agree on the basic facts of any given issue. Like this......... “There’s no doubt that George Soros controls a very large part of the career Foreign Service at the United States State Department”............being horseshyte.

 

They accuse Trump of all kinds of stuff then whine like little pus rockets when he gives it back

 

Well maybe a couple of NGOs in Ukraine that helped overthrow the legit government and funnel in billion$ in IMF loans that went missing.

In the Fairleigh Dickinson study, they concluded that different groups only got their information from single sources. Yet, they never asked the respondents whether they got their information from a single source. Only where they got most of their information. They performed a study which had never been used before to come to the conclusion that a certain percentage of certain groups got their information from a single source. The reliability of that study is seriously in question when you consider that republicans got the highest scores and they most likely get a major part of their information from FOX.

I don't know of anyone who gets their news from a single source. It is so unlikely as to be nearly impossible. Personally, on a regular basis, I listen to HLN, FOX, CBS, the local newspaper and here.

My conclusion on the Fairleigh Dickinson study is that the information on who got the best scores is valid. It comes down to strictly whether you got a question right or wrong and then computing the percent right or wrong. No real study is needed. However, there was no such way to whether they got their information from a single source except some kind of hokey study and anything they say about FOX is very questionable.

 

You should do something about it.

And starting multiple threads centered on your obsession with Trump doesn't count as doing something.

There are about 30 exceptions to the hearsay rule in the Courts...and newsflash...this ain't a court.

Also of note...every time you clowns whine about hearsay...three FIRST HAND witnesses testify to the same event supporting the original testimony.

 

I have heard this claim before.

A. It ignores the ABSURD bias and lies of the "opinion" side of Fox.

B. The "straight news" side is anything BUT that. The bias has infected the entire network and in claiming otherwise, you are accepting this bias unconditionally

 

None of that changes why they are generally not allowed. They are not allowed because they tend to be unreliable. It would be even worse in this case because few people are truly unbiased. None of the first hand witnesses have heard Trump say the funds would be withheld, if the investigation did not take place.

And in spite of this in the only study I have seen of this nature, republican were the best informed. The same republicans who probably watched Fox news more than anyone else.
