The only thing missing is the dog bite. Then it would be country.

Y’all be careful out there. My friend had 2 Cowboys tickets sitting on the console. Someone broke in his vehicle and left 4 more.

I could see someone doing that with Redskins tickets, but the Cowboys???

At least 'Skins fans can look forward to picking up a replacement for Trent Williams with next year's first pick in the draft...

Niners look great this year, CD, but it looks like the Seahawks wrote the script on how to beat them.

Of course, every team doesn't have Russell Wilson playing QB for them...

Watched a documentary about Jurgenson. What an incredible QB!
Every pass wobbled and they were usually caught.

I don't follow football, but life in my house is a lot more pleasant when the 49ers win, lol.

The shop says that the pickup's water pump failed and pumped out all the coolant, then the engine shut itself off in an act of self-preservation.

I was wondering if it was your timing chain/belt. I had one of those strand me in the middle of an intersection before.

That was the last time I drove that car, too...

It must be real pleasant in your house this year. The Niners are one of the best teams in the NFL.

I love football (I played in high school) and I follow it pretty closely but the owners of the last two teams I rooted for wrecked their franchises so I don't have a favorite anymore. While that sucks I actually enjoy the game more and I don't flush 5 months of Sundays down the toilet watching TV all day.

On the other hand, I'm kinda hardcore about my favorite hockey team and my alma mater's basketball team. I can't watch them lose and I'm not a happy camper when they do.

He's been a hard core 49ers fan since birth, and I mean that seriously. His Mom had season tickets for decades, all the way up to when she went into Assisted Living, and one of the players actually called her to find out why she wasn't renewing her season tickets. He's stuck by them even in the lean years. He got to meet Joe Montana back when he was inducted to the Hall of Fame in 2000(?), I'd say that was a high spot for him. ;)

The only sport I truly was fascinated by was down hill skiing, back when Jean Claude Killy was at the top. I skied for many years, even after I trashed my knee in a motorcycle accident, but it got to hurting so bad that I just couldn't do it anymore. Getting old sucks.

Gday sports fans. Not a big football fan (except the 'boys when they win). Although a friends grandson plays for Red Oak HS and it's been fun watching them mow down the competition. One game was 84-10. They're district champs and moving on up. Their excitement is contagious. :)

That's cool. I hated the 49ers but I liked Joe Montana. I can remember when he played at Notre Dame...

I'm sorry to hear that. Personally, downhill skiing is my favorite because it's one of the few sports I've been able to keep up with even though I pretty much wrecked my knees playing football and soccer when I was younger. My inspiration was Franz Klammer - his gold medal winning run at the Innsbruck Olympics in 1976 got me so jacked up I decided to learn how to ski and I've been into it ever since.

On the flip side, two sports - ice hockey and thoroughbred horse racing - are my favorites precisely because I never had an opportunity to participate in them.

There's definitely something special about high school and especially college sports that you don't find in professional sports. Several of my favorite pro sports teams have won championships but none of them were near as exciting as when my alma mater made it to the NCAA Final Four in 2011.

And here's a little Lone Star State fun fact for you, Smartie: when my boys made it to the Final Four in Houston they won their Sweet Sixteen game against Florida State and their Elite Eight game against #1 Kansas in San Antonio (the photo above was shot in the Alamodome). Needless to say, Ram Nation loves Texas. :D
