You are correct, we live in a constitutional representative republic designed specifically to protect the minority. It's "Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness"
This motto or creed to live by has proven itself as one of the most redeeming qualities of our society and has fostered diversity on a scale like no other.

We can identify Trump as the greatest republican since Lincoln. Issa backs Trump's every move, not to kiss ass but because he truly believes that Trump is governing in a way that would make our founding fathers proud.

Trumps win has enabled Issa to stand up for his true convictions and stand up for what he believes is the proper way of governance for our nation.

Let me ask you this. Does Trump honor the legacy and precedent set by Lincoln as the first republican?

Politician...like...I can't get those two ideas to work together in a sentence without sarcasm.

Politicians are scum. I tolerate some more than others because they're a necessity.

Richard Nixon.. at least he tried to win in Vietnam..

Least favorite Lynden Johnson the Vietnam and all the men who died there is his fault.

    Speaking in more contemporary terms

Far and away the best man has been Trey Gowdy..

Issa certainly does not - and Trump doesn't either. Trump's druz czar for example is for using physical violence (law) to stop people from smoking pot.

Trump is pro big Gov't - (look at the deficit increase), Pro anything that will increase the power of Police and anti protections of the individual.

The Trump administration is going whole hog after freedom of speech, freedom of information, freedom of the press (except when that press is favorable to Trump) Assange is a prime example and the legal kangarooland there.

Trump is anti Abortion - it matters not what you think about abortion .. unless you can get an "overwhelming majority" to agree with you - laws banning the practices is illegitimate - a violation of the founding principles.

Trump is anti free market - pro Oligopoly. He did a good job with some regulations but has done nothing to address the systemic issues which allow international corporations to siphon money out of the US economy untaxed.

These folks do not believe in the principles of Republicanism.

I highly doubt our founding fathers would support the widespread use of marijuana in our society. Moreover, Trump looks at drugs as a moral issue, exactly in the same light as our founding fathers would have.

You are just reading to deeply into the fake news sector as they attempt to remove Trump from his promises for a lighter government.
Conservatives are notorious for wanting less taxes and less government regulation. To say otherwise is just being disingenuous to the republican party. Trump is no exception to the rule.

Say what? You think Trump is against the freedom of speech? Way off base. As for the overwhelming majority of the main stream media, they are corrupt and in bed with the democrats. Again, if he is critical of the press it's usually because they've totally misrepresented what he has said.

No, I don't buy into this argument for one second. You are trying to make the claim that Trump needs to be pro everything he is against to be a true man of liberty. This is a joke as the founding father's were totally against abortion and even baked the term "LIFE" into our Declaration of Independence as an inalienable right given by God. Abortion stands in direct opposition to "Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness", not to mention the founding father's viewed abortion as a crime and vowed to protect life in the womb.

    Again, blatant lies.

You have a very bad perception of "conservative" values if you actually believe this to be the case.

    I love him to death.

George H W Bush was a reasonably ethical man apart from his love of Saudi Arabian free money.

I didn't publish that. I just used him as an example of a recently dead POTUS who is still fresh in people's minds.

I'll be really edgy by naming Adolf Hitler.

Yeah, yeah, I know. The most evil man ever, the worst guy in the entire universe, but think about what he managed to accomplish. He took the broken economy of post ww1 germany and managed to turn it around in just a few years so that Germany managed to build arguably the second best military ever. He was able to launch rockets at England when rockets weren't even known. He had jets, rockets, submarines, insane tanks, and came close to complete domination of the world.

I'm not a huge fan of politicians because they are essentially tyrants. Their job is to tell us what we can and have to do, so anybody who really wants that job is a bit of narcissistic psychopath, which Hitler certainly was. However, if we're grading them for their ability to do their job well, it's hard to top Hitler.

    What happened?

The Deep State assassinated JFK, his brother, and MLK. Those men stood against war, against the CIA and many other things. They were assassinated by those who control the government, whoever that may be.

No, your BLOTUS does NOTHING of the sort!

Your BLOTUS is a self centered and self serving POS who erroneously believes himself to be ABOVE the Law of the Land.

His CRIMES are being exposed by Congress and he will ultimately have to face the consequences.

And what crimes are we talking about specifically? Trying to rid Ukraine from overwhelming corruption?

Right, not taking the presidential salary is so low and self centered. Putting down a successful billion dollar business to run for president, all the while not taking money from donors or special interests, very self centered indeed.

So far, all the allegations from the left have been found baseless (impeachment is a hoax). I expect you are nothing more than a pawn for the democratic party.

Was away for a few weeks - down to the USA of Latin America. The above is an excellent base for agreement on a creed I try to follow - a creed spawned out of the Golden rule.

Then you go off the truck :)

What ? LOL -- the above is ridiculous - at least on the surface but OK - I understand your claim - (mightily disagree but OK) where and what is your support for this claim.

Let me ask you something - what are the principles of Republicanism ? and how does trump uphold those principles with respect to Lincoln ? and "every other President" since.

You need to support your claim.

This above is absurdity - and completely unsupported gibberish. Pot was legal during the time of the founders .. and for 150 years after.

The question is not whether or not the founders would support widespread use of Pot. The question is whether or not the founders believed the it was in the legitimate purview of Gov't - "Legitimate Authority" - to use physical violence (Law) - the "Heavy Hand of the State" - to prevent people from doing that action ?

Where is your argument showing that the founders would have thought restricting peoples use of pot using the heavy hand of the state was a legitimate purview of Gov't

The rest of your post is equally unsupported nonsense.

I say : Trump is pro big Gov't - (look at the deficit increase), Pro anything that will increase the power of Police and anti protections of the individual.

    You say:
Nothing in your response relates to my claim with respect to Big Gov't Spending = BIG Gov't - By Definition.

How is the claim that 1) Big Gov't spending = 'Big Gov't "Fake News" ?
How is the claim that 2) Trump has engaged in Big Gov't Spending "Fake News" ?

What on Gods green Earth are you talking about ? both 1 and 2 are statements of Fact - akin to claiming water is wet.

Sorry but, there are already so many fallacies and absurdities in this post - which were a fair bit of work to address. That going further into your post is pointless.

We need to get the basics right first ? ... What on earth are you talking about.

I'd say John Tyler, he annexed Texas so he's alright in my book. Otherwise he accomplished almost nothing. Presidents that do nothing can't infringe on our rights. Sadly we have stopped wanted do nothing presidents, so I can't complain too much about Trump, he's doing what he said he would. Anyone is better than that failure Obama...

Nikki is a neocon and an apologist for neoconism - and Establishment puppet.

In this respect Nikki is the polar opposite of Tulsi.
