    Yep..... Again I'm not sure the legality of an outright ban.

    I do have a feeling that the Dems that are pushing for it not would fight Trump tooth and nail if he signed an EO over it though...

    When I heard Trump was taking a stand against Vaping due to the Health Risks .......... I thought Finally Trump doing the right thing.

    After his Swamp creatures complained about the money they were going to lose ............... Trump turned tail and cowered

    This is why a President needs Integrity and Principles

    I'm glad he backed off. The whole thing was a bad idea. Adults can choose what they want to vape. It's the US, not the USSR.

    This article is a talking point simply because it involves Trump and anything that involves Trump whether rational or not is a hot topic in todays day and age.

    Point is it was stupid to ban flavored E-cig juice in the first place seeing how the shocking deaths of teens were the result of black market THC cartridges and not off the shelf ones. It was widely speculated that was the case in the first place but it took more research to confirm it.

    I mean this entire campaign was hilarious in itself. There were signs in tobacco stores saying E-cigs are banned for public health concerns directly next to cartons of Marlboro Red's and Newports lol....

    Then of course the whole hypocrisy aspect of it regarding underage use. Flavors like bubblegum attract kids, etc. Yeah well so do all these fruity sweet flavored alcoholic beverages such as Smirnoff but we surprisingly never heard a public outcry over that. Way more young people binge drink on Smirnoff's than regular beer because it tastes better to them yet we hear no complaints from the powers at be about the safety of our children in that regard.

    This wasn't just Trump overreacting this was A LOT of people are all levels of government overreacting. Everybody from local mayors to the FDA to the President started freaking out and immediately trying to ban these flavored e-cig juices once those kids started dying at an alarmingly quick rate. Once more research was conducted and the underlying cause was discovered the decision was reversed.

    There is nothing wrong with altering a decision based on further investigation. What would have been the "correct" response from Trump in this regard? Was he supposed to just ignore new evidence and stick to his previously held irrational and factually incorrect assumption about electronic cigarettes and continue with the ban anyway? His haters would have given him hell about that too claiming he was stupid and didn't listen to anybody.

    The guy can do no right in the eyes of many folks...

    Products such alcohol, tobacco, and McDonald's.

    But since virtually "everybody" likes at least one of those aforementioned things we as a society conveniently decide to ignore the side effects of those things.

    We as a society as well as our lawmakers fully understand, with decades of verifiable evidence, the detrimental effects of those things to the population yet there is no outcry.

    A handful of kids die smoking electronic cigs that we as a society collectively don't "understand" and all of a sudden we sound the panic alarm and want to ban them.

    Being a populist is difficult indeed, especially when the population is irrational. Just because everybody agrees on something doesn't automatically mean they are actually right.

    That same claim was circulated about Chew'n tobacco, unfortunately that was not the case ;) If vap contains level of nicotine then as far as arterial scaring goes it's no better then the nicotine introduced to the bloodstream from a cigarette or any other form of tobacco product.. The problem with vaping as with every other enhanced potency product is the amount that can NOW be adjusted to suit the user increased need to stay at that ever fleeting plateau!!

    The same nicotine in a cigarette that causes scaring of the arterial walls and allows plaque deposits to build are both the same, only now, where tobacco companies were finally held to stringent guidelines on nicotine levels has all been for nothing as young and old have the means to kill themselves at however pace they feel like :)

    And who wins in the END, the tobacco companies, producing the liquid nicotine at a fraction of what it cost yesteryear to package cigarettes!

    As they say "SMOKE UM IF YA GOT UM" ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

    There is a difference between "Trump did not explain his reasoning in that tweet" and "The reason that he softened his stance is because of polling data pushed around his administration."

    So you think Gov should make your personal, choices for you? Are you OK with bans on large sodas and trans fats? Sounds more like the people being "governed" need the integrity to make better choices, without Daddy Gov, dictating what they can and cant, consume.
