I think I'm gonna recommend a change to my family's thanksgiving traditions. Instead of a nice meal and then a ride in the cold November weather I think we will go teach a bunch of folks new ways to farm then have them shoot at us for the next fifty years.

Never interrupt a far right winger when they are busy demonstrating how parochial they are.

But you can get even by asking them why we don't have Boxing Day!

Good luck trying to get someone elected on bashing our traditions. After all that has transpired, even if dems said they were favorable to American traditions, no one will believe them now.

Hey. I've been waiting all night to say that. Problem with that plan is half of me would need to teach the other quarter about farming while the back eighth would have to attack the quarter of me at the Alamo or something while the first half and the quarter made a slave out of the last eighth of me.

**** it. I'm deep frying a turkey and going for a ride. That other **** is too complicated.

Have I offended everyone yet? Give me some time. It's my Friday night and the bourbon tastes good.

Did yall actually forget about the whole melting pot thing that helped to make this country great? Every single tradition we have everywhere is a mixture of past traditions from someplace else.

    Happy Turkey Holocaust!

It is sad that some Americans feel so inferior that they have to brag about a freaking holiday.

I haven't eaten a thanksgiving dinner for six years. Since giving up carbs, about the only thing I can eat is the turkey. The traditional T day dinner is a horrible thing to do to your body.

That aside, until trump is gone there is nothing to celebrate. You don't celebrate a nation under siege by evil; a nation that has knowingly chosen evil. Let me know when there is a President who doesn't support child molesters.

How is it Anti-American to point out that we did not come up with something we did not invent? That's like pointing out that John Browning didn't invent the short recoil operation pistol even tough he revolutionized it. And you getting butt hurt cause I pointed you in the direction of the facts. Your arguments just don't make sense.

Or are you one of those that simply can't admit when you're wrong?

I think I'll invite a bunch of third worlders into the U.S. and not worry about the crime, gangs, and communicable diseases they bring in.

And I won't worry about them taking far more from America than what they give.

There is nothing uniquely American about thanksgiving. Many countries have similar holidays. Holding festivals to give thanks for harvests (which is what the original Thanksgiving was) has been around for thousands of years.

It isn't a case of crapping over anything American. I just question the necessity of displaying arrogance over a holiday? It isn't a competition.

But, they all don't have Turkey.
    Stuffing. Gravy. etc. etc.

I prefer cranberry sauce with pieces of whole cranberry.

We don’t eat turkey for any meal. But we do eat shushi since the Asians work on Thanksgiving and Xmas.

The irony of this sentiment coming from a poster with ''banned'' under his name will no doubt be missed by most Americans. ;)
Happy harvest festival old chaps...Toodle pip
