    Happy day before Thanksgiving, y'all! Whether you're cooking, traveling or just goofing off... stay safe and enjoy the holiday.

    My fridge is full of a home cooked Turkey dinner with all the trimmings. From a home cooking cafe. LOL I'll make a fruit salad and stuffed jalapenos & celery. Got pumpkin & coconut pie for dessert.

    Tomorrow it'll get plated up and doled out. Feeding a small army this year. :)

    Baby fever? Its a long winter up there. You never know. lol
    We're good. Biggest excitement lately was Hardhead being pulled over for talking on the phone on the day of the missing wallet.
    I get this call. I cant find my wallet. Did I leave it on the dresser? Then I hear, "Oh ****. I have to hang up." Few minutes later I get a call on speaker phone. I just got a ticket for talking on the phone. I told him I was calling you because I cant find my wallet.
    My first instinct was to laugh but I wasnt sure if it was a laughing moment. Which makes it even funnier now.

    And yeah, winter is starting to really settle in. Hoping for another chinook sooner then later.


    We will see. We already have 2. I don't want to be outnumbered lol.

    And wow, thats kinda funny. we have distracted driving laws up here to so that happens a lot. yay bluetooth lol

    Taking a break from making the garlic mashed potatoes. That’s my one and only job every Thanksgiving although this may be the last one. I’m getting to the point where I can’t look them in the eyes when I get the potato peeler out.

    You just wait until they hit puberty and they, along with your wife synchronize. Women under the same roof always synchronize. Be strong and stand your ground. You are going to need an exit strategy. Fishing, hunting, shooting have been good ones for me over the years.

    I think it fairly easy to know when one under eats.Or even when
    they don't like the eats.Like a kid at dinner sneaking tidbits off their plate
    and handing under the table to the family dog.because they don't like
    what Mom served for dinner.Or a particular vegetable.And Rover { Family dog }
    don't seem to mind as long as Mom's Broccoli has a nice coating of cheese
    melted over.
    But how does one know if they Over eat. ? Does some little dinner bell go off
    in their head.Or their tummy starts back sassin'.Or their belt buckle needs
    adjusting.For those prone in the seated position to forget their manners
    and Not know how to put the dagburn fork down.
    Or does a form of seasickness sprout wings as Mother Manners
    fickle finger of food etiquette takes hold.Before the room starts
    spinning as visions of all you just done ett starts making an indelible
    impression on yer psyche and the couch in the adjoining room seems
    virtually a mile away.As Grandma brings in the Dessert.A must she declar.
    There's 2 versions.Pumpkin Pie or Mincemeat Pie.She suggests a
    slice of boat.As one's head is incapable of anything but looking for relief.
    From gobs of too much down home eats.As Granny slices and dabs out the
    whipped cream.
