Frankly they are not passed. They merely stumbled their way into the first step.

I like the way you say that. Checking what the people ran on would be the only way to verify but most of then are doing what we asked of them because we voted them in.

over three hundred have PASSED the House. They did not stumble in or out of their respective committees to which they were assigned by Speaker Pelosi. The bills did not stumble through public sessions with weeks of testimony, then through work up sessions and committe votes to PASS by majority vote, to the House floor for full consideration. These were not 'stumbles' They were then scheduled by the Speaker's office for full consideration by the entire House as amended and were PASSED by majority vote after third readings to the US Senate for them to die in Mitch's morgue.

If you want different bills representing a different agenda, to pass the House, you need to come up with better candidates or better ideas than the GOP did in 2018.

It's what dems say when you give a good example of why they shouldn't be allowed to legislate.

McConnell works on orders from Trump. He is the most obedient of toadies, it might as well be Trump

It's 2019, almost 2020. 2011 to 2014 is from 9 to 5 years ago. Try to keep up. willya?

what is your evidence that McConnell works for Trump as opposed to his having his own agenda. Yes their agendas do appear to occasionally align but as far as I can tell McConnell is a whole lot smarter and competent than Trump.

And by the way none of the above should be construed to indicate I support either Trump’s or McConnell’s. agendas.

As they should. Partisan bills from either side should never become law. If the left and right can't agree on what is best for America, then it is a bad bill. The congressional gridlock is a blessing in disguise.

I thoroughly endorse that suggestion, so let me know where I can find it and I'll push it onwards to my representatives.

Humans are the most significant contributor to the ongoing global warming crisis because it is primarily being caused by an increase in the concentration of CO2 (which humans put there) in the upper atmosphere.

I beg your pardon. All I was hearing, reading and listening to was all the investigations of Trump going on in the different committees of the house. Okay, not official impeachment, but certainly about bringing down Trump. Outside of the budget deal, I can't remember anything at all about legislation.

If you think about it, that's not all that unusual. Trump is a media hound, he hogs the spotlight, the limelight and is always it seems the top story. He takes all the air out of the room. Whether the story, the report, the attention given him is good, bad or indifferent, he doesn't care. Trump is like that old showman, there isn't such a thing as bad publicity. No publicity is bad.

There's no doubt that since day one of the Democrats taking back the house they have concentrated on Trump and that is what is being reported. You could have fooled me if they had passed a single bill. Whomever is president commands the bully pulpit. Some use that pulpit more, to better advantage than other president, but no doubt, whoever is president will always be the lead story, suck up most of the news time, etc.

Right, wrong or indifferent, anyone watching, listening, reading the news, it has always been about Trump, whether investigations or chances of impeachment by the house, to official impeachment hearings by the house. Everything else is lost.

Like it or not, I seen more of Nadler and Schiff on the news talking about investigations, hearings and the like then Speaker Pelosi. Even when Pelosi comes on, she was either trying to explain why no official impeachment hearings early on and then why the Democrats are having them. She didn't talk about legislation.

Well, it seems the evil Democrat plan of passing bills in the House for no good reason has succeeded beyond their wildest dreams...

I know most of the D bills in the House are low level items, but many are not.. Complete shame on McConnell for not addressing the important ones.

Shame, of course, only working on humans with human emotions...

And Nancy almost always works in some legislation in her weekly pressers, be it gun control or USMCA.... The fact that she doesn't get asked follow up questions on legislation is not her fault.

Well for example Violence Against Women Act is not needed... We dont need a double set of laws just for a Woke happy moment.

When you buy a gun there is already a background check....

What do these laws actually accomplish?

Feel free to look it up since I am apparently a liar.
I try to only post accurate data and I welcome you to point out my posts that I have presented as facts that are inaccurate.

Just because you don’t like the facts as presented because they damage your fragile narrative doesn’t make them any less true.

That is but one single bill out of hundreds passed with bipartisan support. The accusation is that the House is doing nothing which is of course another republican lie. I am sure the next talking point is that they are doing something the right just doesn’t agree with it so they are “doing nothing”.

Please direct quote me where I ever applauded Reid for a single thing he did or admit you are a liar.

Or, push the exact number they have passed and the exact number they have passed with bipartisian support in every ad or interview given followed by both mitch’s and trump’s remarks.

I love how the republicans are lying yet it is still the democrats fault.

With almost 100% attention focused on Trump, she wouldn't get any follow up questions on legislation. That's not what the media is interested in. They want a juicy statement on Trump, not on some mundane legislative bill. Let's face it, almost everyone is fixated on Trump, one way or the other.

Vox often doesn't fact check things. And they often lie, obfuscate, and use semantical nonsense so I take anything they say with a huge helping of salt. As such can you prove that the things listed here are all bi-partisan efforts? Just because they passed the House doesn't mean that they're bi-partisan.

It's like I said, impeachment, Trump in general takes all the air out of the room. I highly doubt running ads portraying the House Democrats achievements legislative wise would get much attention. The Republicans tried this approach when Reid and the democrats controlled the senate. Didn't work.

I'd say it stands less chance today with everyone, everything, focused 100% on Trump. Impeachment is the 10,000 ton Goliath, the behemoth in the room. The media just want Trump news, not legislation.

Read some of those bills. There's plenty of quality, but the Senate GOP is "party before country" all the way. They're willing to let we the people suffer when they have remedies for some of that suffering gathering dust. Worse, they are hypocritical enough to blame the Democrats to the press.

There is no honor left among congressional Republicans. It's Trump's party now.

You guys insist that there was qpq, despite the transcript, and say men have periods. I'm not the one with a fragile narrative, and facts are useless when debating leftists.
