There has been no obvious shortage of your posts. Enough of them have got through the alleged moderator gauntlet to generate plenty of productive discussion and debate. Only you can realize if the deletions are aimed at keeping your agenda from becoming too openly lopsided.

I do believe you proposed a conspiracy.

And, harm CAN be done to our political decision making by such practices.

But, science itself is more resilient than that, because of the fact that it is global and because of the way scientific method is designed.

For example, Trump can yank funds, limtit reports, promote fake science, fire scientists, etc., etc., yet there is no change in what SCIENCE says is going on with our climate.

His consipiracy HAS affected the Amercian people.

But, he has NOT affected scinece.

many 'scientists' have deliberately stated things in such a way as to not 'rock the boat' in an effort to save their salaries, grants, what have you's...

peeps can become a scientist with the bare minimal grade point of 2.0...

iow, just barely passed the courses at humboldt and other scientific universities/colleges...

    No.

Courses where the student received less than a 3.0 out of 4 or where they weren't graduate level courses do not count towards a phd. Plus, in the hard science a candidate must produce original research that passes all the hurdles for publishing. And, of course the candidate must pass oral examination by a pannel of experts in the field.

On the other hand, NO education is required for producing original research that meets publiscation standards - it's just that it would be SHOCKING if someone managed to achieve that.

they are considered a scientist with their 2.0's... the master's is just another rung up the ladder...

one does does need to be 'published' to be a scientist...

The most impressive thing about this thread is that a "real scientist" has posted in it. Very cool!

You're just saying that anyone and their mother can call themselves a scientist.

    Whoo hoo!

The thing is, the results of science come from work that has gone through serious testing by unrelated groups, has passed peer review and has been published. And, that is what needs to be watched.

So for example, Al Gore is not a scienist.

    LOL!!

As I've said over and over and over again, science has nothing to say about the supernatural.

Also, science does not have a place for "faith" such as is the foundation of religion.

Problems do arise when religion decides without evidence that science is wrong on issues of how this universe works.

Also, I suspect there are those who consider science to include totally untestable ideas such as string theory or multiverse. Then, these people think THAT refutes religion!! But, it doesn't work that way for fairly obvious reasons.

I'm WAY more interested in what is science than I am in who gets to call themselves a scientist.

    It's science that matters.

You're wrong about Gore. But, I don't care.

    Let's see;

Suggesting you consider the conspiracy section IS NOT hateful.
Obviously I have a lot to say when on topic.
You don't know me or Hillary so it's impossible to compare me to Hillary.
You don't know how much money Hillary or myself has.

Can you now see why I suggest the conspiracy section?

It's hateful, it's condescending, it's pretentious and you clearly have nothing about which to be pretentious.

I've read a few dozen of your inane posts and you have said nothing of substance. So typical of you Leftists.
Just spew hatred and condescension and then laugh at your own rhetorical cleverness (in your own minds at least).

Bill Loathing the Military Clinton and Hillary have sold their ghost written books for millions.
Had you a fraction of their fortune, you would not be here writing such nonsense.

I haven't seen anything from you worth reading much less seriously considering.
I gave you a chance and you blew it, repeatedly. Now my Ignore List just grew.

It must be a lonely existence if you have to ignore everyone who either disagrees with you, has a different opinion or just flat out refutes the bullshit you post.

Another post full of anti-science rhetoric and ignorance, but not a single shred of evidence or links to a scientific paper to back up the ridiculous claims. Yet, somehow, we are supposed to believe that a random Internet poster knows more than the entire scientific community.
