Translation: You believe all the crap you read while ignoring reality.

I posed a simple question. Why would any business owner hire men, when (as your “research” suggests would cost more to employ) when they could hire women and save money on payroll?

So you’re calling the majority of male business owners sexist? You’re also assuming that only men own companies that employ a male majority workforce? Who’s the sexist now?

Profit is the number one goal of any business. Hence your inability to have a snowballs chance in hell of winning this topic by using a leftist (ie detached from business reality) talking point while ignoring logic.

    My post didn't imply anything.

    Where did I say majority?

Note the little green grinning guy. It was a joke answer to a silly question. Don't go getting your boxers in a bunch over it.

Accelerated depreciation didn't help reduce the deficit, it increased it. I liked Reagan but some very bad stuff happened under Reagan. The Stock Market had its biggest one day loss in history in 1987. The Savings and Loan meltdown destroyed that industry and resulted in a $500 million loss which the government recovered by selling off assets. The National debt increased by $5 trillion under Reagan and H.W. Bush had to raise taxes to stem the hemorrhage.

You totally missed my point. One has to know where one is on the Laffer Curve or disaster is just around the corner. Republicans never got this very basic fact so debt soared under GOP administrations.

You know, if you really wanted to be a statistician, maybe you should have hit the books a little harder when you were in college...

Your quote suggest otherwise. It suggest that very little of the gap between men and women is due to discrimination. I'll bold it for you so you can see it clearly.

You're confused. There wasn't "one exact spot" on the laffer curve. There were two: The revenue maximizing spot and the growth maximizing spot. Suggesting that a "revenue maximizing spot" existed is different from saying we should be there, which we never were and Laffer never advocated for achieving.

Laffer often advocated for achieving the growth maximization spot, which would increase revenue, which it did.

The idea that the way to understand "reality" is not through research but by listening to Trump is very... Trumpian (to use a term that is PC... for now, at least).
Obviously for the same reason that they pay them less. But your question is not just "simple"... it's "simplistic". You obviously have never run a business. Whenever I have hired somebody, salary has never been the main factor when choosing among candidates.

Memes are parody, we're not talking about memes but flat out lies

That map is obtained by disenfranchising everyone who did not vote for the majority in that area.

O right, a guy that craps in a solid gold toilet is all about the "working man" Trump wouldn't know a days work if it was driving his golf car

Most businesses do exactly that, which is why most businesses fail.

Well, averages are made up by the sum of the whole. There's women who are outperforming and there's men who are outperforming. There's also underperforming men and women in the work force. All of these add up to the averages we have listed right here.

Then there's the decision between entrepreneur and worker(which is a huge distinction salary wise), years of experience, average salary for the position. I mean, I can go on with the nuances. If you think it's as simple as signing a law that says "Everyone should be paid equally"(there is such a law BTW, it just doesn't WORK. Due to said nuances.)

If Men made similar decisions to females as a whole economically, or if the economics factor women more than men, it'll be men on the downside of the swing.

As an Economics major, I know far better than to believe the Democratic talking point. It's just not true, or if it were true, solvable by fiat.

Trump is not the topic of this conversation, I know he lives in your head rent free 24/7, but you should at least try to evict him out of there. It’ll be good for you.

Also, don’t use words like “obviously” when projecting what I have, and haven’t done. You know nothing about me (that goes both ways).
Show me where women actually make less money for (this is the key) the same exact job then men. Answer: they don’t.

Men however work in fields that are physically demanding/dangerous (therefore high paying), something that keeps women away NATURALLY.
