The Left used to know that the Deep State was a criminal conspiracy against the American people and the rule of law.

"The FBI worked to create violent confrontations between factions on the radical left. The bureau was prepared in this case to commit violent acts itself. In New York, agents set cars on fire with "Molotov cocktails," making it appear that one faction was attacking another. FBI agents conducted at least five such bombings in 1973 and 1974." The Lawless State, The Crimes of the U.S. Intelligence Agencies, Morton H. Halperin, Jerry J. Bermin, Robert L. Borosage, and Christine M. Marwick, Penguin Books, NY, 1977. p. 125.

Whenever the "regular police" begin to resemble the secret police the police are no longer "good guys".

"Closely connected with this transformation of the suspect into the objective
enemy is the change of position of the secret police in the totalitarian
state. The secret services have rightly been called a state within the state, and
this not only in despotisms but also under constitutional or semi-constitutional
governments. The mere possession of secret information has always
given this branch a decisive superiority over all other branches of the civil
services and constituted an open threat to members of the government."
THE ORIGINS OF TOTALITARIANISM, By Hannah Arendt, Meridian Books, Cleveland, New York, 1958. https://archive.org/stream/TheOriginsOfTotalitarianism/The-Origins-of-Totalitarianism_djvu.txt

Just because someone says it doesn't make it true. It seems Trump supporters are the new left radicals by buying into the deep state BS.

We must get the insurance industry out of the health care system if we’re serious about improving it.

Of course it's true. The Deep State was brought before the Church and Pike committees and admitted to every bit of it. Which is not to say that they confessed all.

“In addition, intelligence routinely resorts to lying, deception, plausible denial, and related arts to escape detection, or, on higher levels, responsibility. Hoover's right-hand man, Cartha DeLoach, thus falsely assured Attorney General Nicholas de B. Katzenbach that the bureau tapes of Martin Luther King, wiretaps which he had offered to play for a Newsweek reporter, were made by a Georgia police unit and not by the FBI. Director Hoover frustrated Attorney General Francis Biddle’s order in 1943 to terminate a detention list merely by changing its name. Richard Helms lied to a Senate committee about CIA involvement in the “de-stabilizing” the Allende regime in Chile as well as its role in attacking domestic dissidents. Director Hoover regularly understated in Congressional testimony the number of electronic surveillances maintained during the previous year by excluding figures relating to microphone surveillances and by shutting down some of the wiretap installations on the eve of his testimony, only to resume them later."
The Age of Surveillance, The Aims and Methods of America's Political intelligence System, Frank J. Donner, Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., New York, 1980, p. 24,25.

No they don't. Corrupt bureaucracies resist reform. Surely you know that.

No, the deep state is for Holywood movies. Using single instances of misleading, false or otherwise does not make the entire US govt part of some conspiracy.

    Exactly.

Which illustrates why using copypasta (from a book written almost 40 years ago) is not the best way to "argue a point".

As far as the Google Policy in the OP?

It is a good start. But, they need to go further to shut down RW Internet Trolls.

Who should we believe? You, or a Director of The Central Intelligence Agency?

“Thank God for the ***deep state***,” declared former acting CIA chief John McLaughlin recently while appearing on a panel at George Mason University. A year ago, the deep state was routinely reviled as a figment of paranoid right-wingers’ imagination. But much of the news media are now conferring the same sainthood on the deep state that was previously bestowed on special counsel Robert Mueller."

Source please. The Deep State hates Trump's guts, and they are not subtle about it.

"But cheering for the CIA and its shadowy allies to unilaterally subvert the U.S. election and impose its own policy dictates on the elected president is both warped and self-destructive. Empowering the very entities that have produced the most shameful atrocities and systemic deceit over the last six decades is desperation of the worst kind. Demanding that evidence-free, anonymous assertions be instantly venerated as Truth — despite emanating from the very precincts designed to propagandize and lie — is an assault on journalism, democracy, and basic human rationality. And casually branding domestic adversaries who refuse to go along as traitors and disloyal foreign operatives is morally bankrupt and certain to backfire on those doing it."
THE INTERCEPT, The Deep State Goes to War With President-Elect, Using Unverified Claims, as Democrats Cheer, By Glenn Greenwald, January 11 2017.

I don't need to do that. The criminal history of the Deep State is well documented.
There are many books you could read, and transcripts of Congressional hearings exposing all the details.

    Would you like a bibliography?
